I bought some fluorescent tubes off the website, there was nothing to indicate that there would be any delay in delivery. It took two weeks for them to arrive; they were inadequately packaged and had been smashed in transit. The company offered to replace them and asked for photographs so that they could claim against the courier - these were provided. The replacement tubes had not arrived after waiting a further 3 weeks; during this time I was not updated and it proved difficult to get an answer to my telephone calls.
I eventually asked for a refund. This proved to be another disaster; I received less than half the money I had paid, the cost of the delivery was not forthcoming. This cannot be right bearing in mind the fact that Lamps2UDirect are claiming against the courier.
At no point have I received any invoices or credit notes, everything was done through PayPal, the only paperwork was a delivery note with the goods. The lamps were ordered for business purposes so this does not seem very professional, I expected a VAT receipt.
I have not enjoyed my experience with this company, I will not be using them again and would not recommend them to anyone else.
