“Bought leather jacket. When it came as soon as I opened it there was a horrible smell that fills the room. Jacket smells like someone dirty has been wearing it while smoking cigarettes. I have hung the jacket up in a room with open window but the smell remains. Shocking that an item that smells so dirty would be shipped to a customer. I have bought things in the past from the company but have now lost trust in them and will boycott them in future”

“Having a curvy figure I normally find it difficult to find a good fit in a leather jacket and after looking on the Lakeland website saw a beautiful cream biker jacket for a casual look, to go with summer dresses, but I was hesitant as I just wasn’t sure if it would look right. The following weekend on a trip to Southport, I was delighted to stumble on a Lakeland shop and spent ages trying on a variety of styles and colours, the staff were so helpful and patient. Eventually I settling on the jacket I had seen on the website, and even better, it was in the sale! Unfortunately I didn’t have my purse with me and had to order it from the website after all, even though it was Jubilee bank holiday it arrived within a few days, well wrapped with a card for a further 10% off the next purchase. I love it!”

“As always the leather item was excellent quality. I would always score 5/5 for the leather goods. My only criticism is the packaging. When I order a quality item I really look forward to it being delivered. But the Lakeland packaging is usually a let down and doesn’t reflect the quality of the goods. When I receive goods from some other quality companies it lifts my spirits to see the parcel delivered, beautifully presented. Care taken over the design and eco quality of the packaging but not so with Lakeland. Seems like they just glance around the office to see what bits of wrapping are available. Come on Lakeland ! Do yourself a favour and design and present some lovely wrapping that your leather goods deserve. I await your comments.”
