“Excellent leather jacket, although my instinct to order a size larger than normal was right - probably worth mentioning this sizing anomaly on the website. Very comfy and smart looking. The one negative is Lakeland using UPS for deliveries - as always with UPS the delivery did not happen on the due date, and no response to my query to them was received. Probably the least reliable parcel carrier there is - needs to be changed.”

“My purse is lovely and just what I wanted. Nice colour and good quality. The delivery comany were very dissappointing, the tracker said delivery between 8.30 and 11.30 on 5th oct at 12.30 update said would be delivered by the end o the day. At 6.30pm update said it would be delivered between 8.30 and 11.30 on the 6th, finally arrived 11,20 on 6th. An awful lot of waiting about”

“This time purchasing experience basically okay. Normally I wear size 44 jacket in other brand. But this time size 44 Lakeland Leather jacket is oversize for me, I have to ask tailor and spend USD 170 to shorten sleeve length and jacket width. It is not easy to return product from Taiwan to UK, so I have to alteration. If website could show model height and wearing size will be better. For example: Tom, Height 180cm, Weight 80Kg, Wear Size 44 Jack, Height 160cm, Weight 65Kg, Wear Size 38 ************************************************************** Basically ok, but I spend extra money due to my own misunderstanding sizing.”

“I have no issues with Lakeland Leather as a company, quality products! but i was unhappy with the delivery service (UPS) who left my parcel on the door step in the rain. This isn't Lakeland fault but they should consider using a different courier.”

“I really liked the things I ordered, and will return to the site again. The only slight annoyance was that UPS, who delivered well within the time frame for my first order. were nearly four hours past the latest quoted delivery time for my second. I had planned my day around these times, so had to reschedule a number of things.”

“I bought two "ratchet" belts from Lakeland Leather. Both seem to be nicer than cheaper ones i bought from Amazon (which appeared to be plastic rather than leather). However I am a bit disappointed the leather is much thinner than i would have hoped. Only time will tell whether they last adequately. The Lakeland website was easy to use, BUT the automatic email i received did not itemise what i had ordered. It just gave an order number that i could not find any way to check on their website. (I did not create an account when i placed the order. I created one subsequently with the same email address but it said i had no orders). A day or so later i received another email when the order was dispatched. This did confirm the items in question. So i had a couple of days of uncertainty. Maybe i sound paranoid, but ordering systems do sometimes have glitches (or customers make mistakes). It is standard practice in an ordering system to send an ITEMISED email at the point the order is placed. As an ex IT professional I am constantly amazed at companies that fail to get these processes right. Anyway, hopefully the belts will prove to be better implemented than the IT system!”

Hello, Thank you for the detailed review. We are looking to sort out the Customer Email sequence, and getting an itemised list is part of that. As I'm sure you understand, working through IT tasks is never a straight forward process, but should hopefully be sorted in the next month. I'm sure the belts will be great, and last. Thanks

“Lovely jacket. Love the colour (teal green). Sleeves a little close fitting so probably not suited to wearing thicker jumpers underneath. True to size in my view. The cling film on the zips took a while to untangle which was a pain. Well packaged.”

“The bag and Lakeland leather I cannot fault, but please UPS delivery, didn't even try to deliver just dumped it at a collection point. No notification that that is where it had been left either. Grrrrr.”

“I ordered a leather jacket for my wife over the phone - an easy and pleasant experience However I think you should change your courier from UPS as we should have received it Tuesday and it still has not arrived early afternoon on Thursday But happy to say it has arrived and the jacket is great”
