“Bought a Chloe dress (think that's the name) full skirt with a waist bow. I usually avoid black but this has such a pretty, cheerful, bright coral and red print that I tried it. Lovely! Usual high quality cotton fabric, bit of stretch for ease. Looks great, saving it for our WI Summer Dinner next week. I like the sleeve and the neckline shape. Five stars for everything, including the service.”

“I love the styles & prints but would like to see more styles with a slightly fuller bust & perhaps either a belt or tie at the waist. I usually buy size 10 which is great in Elsie & many other styles. I've just bought a Dirdle but it's a little tight across the bust so am dithering about exchanging it for a 12. The trouble is 12 is usually a bit too big overall. I also love the longer length designs.”

Generally our customers are satisfied that our sizing is in line with their other favourite shops, however on occasion mistakes do occur. If the sizing is very different to the measurements advertised on our website, you should return this as a faulty item for a full refund. Alternatively, our customers are welcome to return any dress to us within 14 days if they are not satisfied with the purchase. “I bought 3 lyra dresses in the sale (£48 reduced to £35) as I already had one and found it very comfortable to wear. I like the style and the fabric which has a certain amount of 'give' in it. I am hoping this type of fabric appears in other dresses too! I'd also be happy to buy more lyra dresses in different prints as the style is flattering.”

“As a first time customer, Lady V Vintage was recommended to me by a friend. They had a sale on and I ordered 4 dresses (since Lindy Bop has closed). After 2 weeks, I heard nothing but had a confirmation order email, I had to chase them after a week and a day and they said they had been ‘swamped’ with sale orders, yet one of my friends received her dresses within 4 days. Low and behold, my package was dispatched the same day I sent my email. The patterns were lovely, but the dresses were an odd fit with each size varying and not fitting well. Quite disappointed with the service and items. All sent back for full refund and probably won’t go back I’m afraid.”

Hello Kate. I wanted to apologise for the longer-than-usual wait for your order on this occasion. At the beginning of August we had staff illness/absence, staff leaving and the summer sale. All three together unfortunately made for some unprecedented delays that are certainly not usual here at Lady V. “My beautiful Bee lyra dress took only six days to arrive at my door! I am going to "bee" the envy of everyone at work in my "bee" dress. So happy that you restocked. First time buying directly from the UK. No issues. Can't wait to buy more, although the $30 express courier was a bit steep and would love for there to be cheaper/slower options for delivery to other side of the world.”
