“I'm a long time fan of Lady V dresses, I have shockingly large collection 😇 and I love them all! This review is for my new short sleeved Betty dress. It's so comfortable & pretty! The blue is really vibrant and who doesn't love summer Lemons 🍋. Wore this out to lunch today & received lots of lovely compliments! The Betty dress is a stretch pull on dress. It has a scooped neckline & pockets! We love pockets! Betty does usually come in 3/4 sleeves, but this lovely Lemons one is a short sleeve version. Wash on 30 degrees, hang and it dries quickly with no ironing.. winner winner...! I pre ordered this with a handful of other designs, but normal orders usually arrive within 2 or 3 days...”

“I want to love Lady V dresses but all of the fabrics are 100% synthetic and not suited to my body. The dress lengths are also far too long for a short lady like me. I've returned nearly all my orders for these reasons unfortunately. And no free returns means I won't be ordering from them again.”

“I love the Lyra dresses! I can continue to wear my usual size even at 9 months pregnant and when baby is here they'll be great for breastfeeding! Very comfortable abd always get compliments in them.”

“I decided, after buying the plain lilac dress, that I preferred the patterned dresses. I sent this one back. It took 5 working days before my return request was approved. Not sure why it takes so long. Overall the dresses are lovely and I’ve been pleased with them.”

“I am very short (under 5ft) and usually take a 10 or 12 or a medium for bottoms but I decided to go for an 8 due to worrying about the stretch and the length. It fits perfectly, reaches my ankles but that's to be expected and it looks great on. Extremely well made and amazing price and super fast delivery and great communication as to when parcel was despatched and due to be delivered.”

“I own somewhere in the neighborhood of 40+ dresses from Lady V, mostly cotton hepburns and a few dirdles. They are, literally, all I wear for work. They're well-made, sturdy, and absolutely fool-proof for an office job. I have been starved for new hepburns or dirdles for sooooo long...or at least cotton...I understand they're not your big sellers, but if all you are offering is polyester lyras, of course they're going to be a better seller. Maybe since they're not great sellers, you could take pre-orders, like a crowd-funded type thing? My heart is sad to think I'm going to have to dismantle one of them, make a pattern for myself, and just take it from there...if you are going to discontinue the hepburn, would you be open to selling the pattern? and the dirdle?”

“I bought the Lyra Maxi in dusty rose. What a head-turner of a dress. I wore it on Saturday night and it made me feel amazing. I ran into people I know from work and they didn't recognise me until I said hello. I wish there were more autumn colouring-friendly, yet daytime appropriate colours and patterns available. I would buy several of these if I liked the colours on offer more. The colours that I can pull off from the Lyra range are very intense - jewel-toned - and IMO better suited to evening wear. Would love a dusky mulberry, an English mustard, a rusty orange - or paprika. I usually wear a 12, but sized down to a 10 and the fit was glove-like, despite big boobs. I'm 5' 7", and length was perfect too. Not a huge fan of the slit, as I don't like my knees, but that's a 'me' problem. The dress gets 5*. Thanks Lady V.”

“I bought the Lyra dress this time and absolutely love it. It’s a great fit with plenty of room. Very comfortable and very elegant. I love the material. I get compliments wherever I go when I’m wearing Lady V. I’ve never had any issues with orders and never had to return anything. I’ve been wearing Lady V for 6 years.”

“I hate writing bad reviews but feel like I would want to know this info, if I was a potential customer. I used to be a repeat customer of Lady V but recent experiences have been really poor. Inconsistent sizing, missing packages, slow communication about issues & the new tags in the dresses are ridiculous!! They are unnecessarily large & stitched into the back of the dress in a way that means they are very obviously visible on the outside. They make the light coloured dresses completely unwearable for me - they look ridiculous! Really disappointing ☹️ & I won't be purchasing any more.”

“Dresses are lovely, although I miss the quirky print styles from about 10-12 yrs ago. My favourite is the Lyra Dresses. They are the perfect dress for any occasion and can be styled up or down as needed. I also enjoy the Lyra Maxi.”
