I've always loved Lady V dresses but I've not bought one for a while. I decided to treat myself to a Xmas dress with a lovely woodland design in my favourite hepburn style. The style is still perfect BUT sadly the fabric was no longer the cotton dress but a stretchy nylon/scuba feel, which when it stretches over curves the colour went lighter. I understand this type of fabric would mean it have more give but I really prefer the natural cotton fabric so it's sadly being returned

The fabric of the dress I bought feels incredibly cheap and gross. The measurements also don’t match at all - I checked and a 10 seemed right for me but it was actually way way too big, I’d probably need a 6 which they don’t sell. I’m in the process of returning it now.

I am disappointed with my latest trip to Lady V...I didn't receive my dresses or my partial refund and had to get PayPal involved twice to sort out both issues.

Everything is great until you want to return an item and get a refund. After one week they received the item, they finally sent an e-mail about refund. After another week since than, another two e-mails about sending the money, each of them for different amount and both amounts not correct. Still waiting for the refund though, so we will see if I ever get my money back! UPDATE: in the end I got my money back, after more than one month of e-mailing almost everywhere. No apology, not a single sign of empathy or something. So, eventhough the dresses are really nice, the customer service is really poor.

Whilst the quality and style of the dresses was lovely, as always, the service (or complete lack there of) was poor. As I write this, I am still awaiting a response from Lady V despite emailing twice and attempting to contact via social media (their phone lines are closed). We paid almost £8 for next day delivery - it wasn't dispatched until the day it was supposed to be delivered, eventually late, and by a delivery method which didn't correspond with what we paid for. I emailed them an urgent query regarding the delivery when it didn't arrive - despite receiving a response assuring me that they would respond within 24 hours, I never received a response - neither to my original email on the date of the failed delivery, nor to my subsequent emails. This seems to chime with other reviews (e.g. TrustPilot) about lack of response. Whilst I am understanding of the situation small businesses like Lady V are in due to Covid-19, and I would normally be none the wiser, the lack of response smacks of poor customer service when I am aware of and have seen emails sent to other customers who got in touch more recently. When my dress arrived the parcel was badly torn and the dress stained and grubby - with less than 24 hours until the funeral it was ordered for, we felt we had no choice but to wash it and keep it. We've still not received an acknowledgement nor apology from Lady V, or a refund for the expensive delivery service they failed to meet.

COVID-19 did result in our customer service team having to work remotely, and our usual level of service did suffer as a result. We are now back up and running as normal. I can see your parcel has since been delivered and you have already spoken with someone in our customer service team regarding the refund. Apologies again.

The masks looked so pretty & ideal to buy for this Covid 19 virus . I ordered one & it arrived earlier than expected which was great, but It wasn’t well made at all. I had to tie knots in the elastic to see if I could get a better fit . It didn’t work it didn’t sit properly on my face. I wish I’d never bought it .

I placed a large order with this company, 7 dresses. All 7 dresses arrived in a plastic bag the size of a small shopping bag and are all very crumpled and not fit to wear. One dress had a bleach mark on it. I emailed the company with photos and was given a link to the shipping company for them to deal with my return request. A week later and I am having to again email (3rd time lucky)with the photos and have still received no confirmation that I can return the dress and receive a refund. At no point has anyone acknowledged the state of the parcel and dresses when they arrived. Poor quality and poor customer service.

Its a shame that I have to write a bad review as I love the brand but I have had a terrible experience with my first order. I have placed an order for 2 dresses on 9-04, 3 weeks long I didnt hear anything. I had to ask twice about any update and both times I got a standart message, kind of " thank you for your patience, we will check" but that was it. Finally some time later I got a message about a refund. Apparently 1 of 2 dresses was not in stock anymore, so I paid the postage fee just for 1 dress. If I knew that I wouldnt order. The order has been dipatched after several weeks, but now 3-05 and I still didnt receive my order. I am extremely disappointed.

I love the dresses of LadyV and therefore I would recommend the webshop, but my last order was delayed in shipment by more than a month... All the while the customer service didn't respond with anything other than: "we are looking into it". In the end it turned out that 2 dresses I ordered were no longer available and I had to choose 2 replacement dresses... But I'm still wondering why it took so long... We are now 1 month and 1 day since my order and I have finally received a message that my order has been shipped.

The dress had a good cut but the fabric disappointed me. Too thin and needed a lining for better draping and structure.

tried to order next day witout warning or email i got the money back no dresses. my choice wasnt available anymore. orderd 3 new ones. 1 fit the other weren t made for a big cup.

I was really disappointed with the Eva dress, in festive red that I ordered, the colour was not the vibrant red portrayed on the website, it was really dull and almost brown, nor was the dress particularly well made, there were stretch marks on all the seams where they have been sewn making the fabric appear white along them. I have ordered beautiful dresses from Lady V in the past so was very surprised to receive something of such poor quality.
