“I love, love, love my Maisie dress and my Elsie dress, ordered and delivered within a few days. Beautiful prints, could probably have got away with a size smaller than I ordered but that's more down to me guessing than any issue with the size guide. I'm now trying to persuade my husband that I need the Maisie in at least 5 other prints😀”

“I bought a purple Hepburn dress and was absolutely delighted. It fitted really well and looks great. I bought it in the sale but even at full price it was very good value. I will definitely be buying more Lady Vintage items in the future.”

“It was the Black Friday sale. Lots of gorgeous dresses as low, low prices... up to 60% off! Looking through all the designs I saw a black shift Elsie dress which I knew would be fabulous for my best friend, at just £19 (+p&p). I felt the size 10 would be a perfect fit... although she has a full bust, the V neckline would be very flattering. It was a perfect fit... absolutely stunning. The quality & thickness of the fabric... had a nice weight about it, not at all thin or flimsy. It felt good to treat someone to such a gorgeous dress.”

“Lady V products have always been of excellent quality, even if the particular dress turns out not to suit me. The returns have always been dealt with promptly and either a refund or replacement supplied without a quibble. The prices are broadly comparable with the high street budget chains but the money is spent on the quality of the fabric, so the actual dresses compare favourably with much more expensive gowns. The sales have provided several bargains where I can have fun dresses for a few pounds.”

“Dress is a heavy fabric with a slight stretch. Beautiful red color. Belt is too small and doesnt actually fit around the waist of the dress. Dress is unfortunately too large even though I measured correctly. Will get my mum to help me take it in as returning it from New Zealand will take too long as bought it for a Christmas event.”

“When asked about a Christmas return policy the response was "just order it closer to Christmas". Firstly, it is likely some items may sell out. Secondly, given that you had a Black Friday sale it is not inconceivable that people will place orders intended as Christmas gifts so the lack of any provision for this is pretty poor. The item came in very unsubtly branded packaging, again given the proximity to Christmas it is likely people will place orders intended as gifts, in my case this ruined what would have been a surprise present. Lastly the dress size calculator on your website is widely off, seeing as the surprise was ruined my girlfriend tried on the item, it was an 18 and fitted, your size calculator suggested 22-24 . I am unlikely to order from you again and as such I cannot recommend you and have already advised others not to bother ordering from you.”

Hello, thank you for your response. However we are sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with ordering through Lady V. Our returns policy is 14 days for a refund from the date in which the order was received, or 28 days for an exchange. My apologies if this was not clearly explained to you. All packages are sent with our own Lady V bags. However we can understand that some orders may be gifts, so you can of course send an email to our customer service team and they can accommodate this. I will certainly look into the size calculator as this should be extremely precise. So my apologies about this! However we do provide a size chart on each individual dress as well, which I do recommend checking for just in case. I am sorry that you have had a bad experience with Lady V, and we would certainly like the opportunity to rebuild your faith in us as a company.

“This is the second dress I have purchased from Lady Vintage and just like the first, I am very happy with the style and fit. It is plain and simple but gives me shape. I will be wearing it to an evening of swing music in a couple of weeks time.”
