“The item send really good quality, although I am yet to assemble. I was kept up to date regarding the delivery and the item was delivered in good time. My only reason for reducing to 4 star is because I ordered the item during the Christmas period as a present for my husband. Unfortunately, the item arrived in clear cellophane wrapping clearly showing what was inside, which spoilt the surprise as my husband took the delivery. I think that during the Christmas period, items could be delivered in more discrete packaging.”

“My Victorian Tall Greenhouse looks lovely and is very useful indeed! This is a Forest Garden Ltd product supplied by KeenGardener, whose service has been excellent. What follows is a product review. Construction took several days, partly because of the need to make good some rather serious defects in the timber and correcting a couple of badly jointed panels. The quality of the timber left a lot to be desired, with planed timbers generally not smooth at all, torn grain, deep fissures, chunks missing at joints and rough edges. However, using some Ronseal advanced wood filler solved the major problems, before painting. Most defects became apparent only during assembly, some late in the process. An example is the pre-assembled shelf supports, that broke away easily, because the factory had used tiny screws that were too short. That was typical of the sort of quality issues that I found. Shrinkage had also affected the shape of panels and the joints, but strength was fine and after painting, it all looks good. If I had asked for replacement parts, then waited for delivery, then found more problems also needing replacements, and so on, assembly could have taken weeks. The supplier has responded fairly to my complaints, and agreed to a rebate on the price I paid. Painting was easy, since the windows are all covered on both sides with a peel-off plastic film. I used a custom colour Valspar outdoor paint, which covered excellently with two coats. There is a job still to be done, to remove flecks of paint that were flicked off when the window coverings were removed, These flecks have stuck firmly to the windows themselves, and won’t come off by washing or vacuuming; when the weather warms up, I’ll rub the windows with acetone to get them off. I would say that some woodworking experience and tools are necessary to do a good job of assembly – don’t make this your first DIY project!”

“Table and chairs exactly what we wanted at a good price. Only hiccup was delivery was arranged for a convenient day when two people would be at home but goods were delivered two days earlier. Not a big problem but was a surprise albeit nice!”

“Very happy with item purchased. Delivery ?? - emails received about arrival of parcel, but delays kept happening. Was informed each time. Just as well I hadn't stayed in especially for parcel to arrive on first specified date. Eventually arrived in timescale given but whole deliver was c48 hours later than first informed. This was not the fault of Keengardener.”

“Delivery of our mower was very prompt and efficient. It works perfectly although a little heavy for a push mower but it is a large cut. The grass collectionbag is under size for the cut but a bigger problem is that the cable is too short for our garden even plugged into the shed power point.”
