“I have used several different remittance services. They all have strengths and weaknesses. I would not rate any of them as a Five Star but some are certainly more helpful than others. I rate Kabayan a four Star for a number of reasons. 1) their rate of exchange and fee for service is very good. 2) if you do have a problem, their staff is extremely helpful and can get to the bottom of things quite quickly. Their method of payment using e-transfer is a little different but works out fine. If I had one complaint, it would be that they don't retain the phone number for different receivers. You have to supply that fresh with each send. That's fine if you only have one receiver but gets a little tedious if you have two or three. But all in all, I am quite pleased with Kabayan and would recommend it to anyone needing a good, reliable remittance service.”

“I like using Kabayan Remit but every time I send a big amount due to my ongoing House Construction in the Philippines and in Emergency Situations, my Remittance is always being kept on HOLD or returned / refunded after several days and they keep on asking proof where the funds come from! It is so annoying as there is no way you could steal money here in the UK and sent it back home. Most of the time, I spent the whole day just sending Bank Statements, Pay Slips, etc. thru their compliance team...”
