They messed up our remittance, nobody informed us that the remittance has not gone through

My remittance sent to the Philippines on the 12 Aug still not received despite my communication with ur agent. My family in the Philippines got cut off with their electricity due to money not credited to my receivers bank account. Not very happy at all!

Please be advised that we take great care in ensuring that every feedback from our customers is thoroughly investigated. We always aim to deliver our customers' money as safely and quickly as possible; however, the delivery time may be affected due to different factors. We used Bancnet Instapay to process your transaction, which is a system operated by Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas. That system is, in a way, serves as a bridge for various Philippine banks so your money can be sent faster (it can take as fast as a few minutes). Then the feedback, if the transaction is credited or undelivered (e.g. account number provided does not exist, returned by bank), will be coming from the recipient bank, which in this case would be Philippine National Bank. We initially received a report from Philippine National Bank stating your transaction has been credited, so we updated your transaction's status on our end likewise. When you told us that it was not yet credited, we made an initial inquiry to the bank, but we were advised it was credited and for manually crediting on Philippine National Bank side. We hope this gave you a picture of how we coordinate with different parties to process transactions. For this particular case, we heavily relied on your recipient's bank for feedback as well as when and what actions we will take next. However, even the erroneous processing was not caused by us (stated not to point fingers but to establish accountability), we understand that you did not have a good experience. Be careful with Kabayan Remit. They took my Interac Transfer for $250.75 and claimed I never sent the money. The money is gone from my account. My bank (CIBC) and Interac confirmed the money was sent to the correct account at RBC but Kabayan refuses to believe me. So they get a $250.75 windfall but lose a customer for life.😡

Sorry to hear you've experienced issues with our service, John. Due to Rogers telecommunication outage that affects the Interac e-transfer payments, all Interac was not sent to us that day. People are not helpfull they wiill keep asking to make a call back but never happen,They will hold your money and never cares.Beware of this remittance

Kabayan REIT customer service is atrocious. If you complain, all they say is ‘sorry to hear that’. They promise to phone back after my formal complaint and they never do. The manager is always in a meeting. Kabayan is ok if it goes right but you will never get an answer to a problem. My complaint was on 31March. In spite of an email, numerous email chasers and about 5 phone calls NOTHING. They do not care

Such a nightmare. A bank to bank transaction should be an easy transaction but it has become a nightmare and the funds are not in the account yet. The service is not reliable. I will not use the service anymore, beware.

We always aim to deliver our customers' money as safely and quickly as possible. However, the delivery time may be affected due to different factors. With our intention of fulfilling transactions faster, after creating one, it generally gets forwarded to the bank automatically without human intervention. We don't intend to prolong your transaction's crediting time. For this particular case, we heavily relied on your recipient's bank for feedback (e.g. transaction status, credited, undelivered, the bank was offline) and when and what actions we will take next. We will appreciate your understanding and thank you for your continued use of our service for your remittance needs.

This is a terrible website. It says invalid credentials (incorrect password) but I am 100% it was correct. Then it won't accept my intended recipient's email address saying invalid - and I have been communicating with the intended recipient just for the last 20 years with the same email address!! All the time I spent registering then trying to log in is just a waste of time. I will just continue using another company t send money to the Philippines.

Getting worst, ever since they changed from asenso to kabayan, there is always a delay. Few months ago it was hours delay but lately it was 1 day delay, I have to call customer service to follow up.

Why the first time I sent money that cost $100 it was on hold and asking for proof of fund, why the second time I sent money that cost $511.99 it was not hold and I was not ask for a compliance. If I know that it will happen, I will never send money thru you guys. I better send it to western union, I just trusted the filipino workmate of my wife recommending me your company. I just cant cancel the transaction as it says there that it was automatically deposited to Asensoremit. If you think of my situation, what will i think of you? At this time. Put me in your shoes being a customer. It is very disapointed. After I trusting taking picture of my ownself and my passport in your website , why you did not ask for a compliance at that time, why you guys did not ask a proof of fund or a so that I will say no no no to send, because it was night time here past 11pm and I was too far away from the town or city. Now it was on hold for in how many days. Is that right holding money from other people?. Just return the whole amount of money. Do not hold it. Think that this money is very important for the kids allowance. You should have a good heart.

It is also indispensable to understand where customers have obtained the money, they are using to carry out transactions. It is an integral part of the Know Your Customer (KYC) process and vital to AML/CFT compliance. In addition to establishing the source of funds, as part of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) were also required to take adequate measures to establish the source of clients' wealth. I an extremely disappointed with the kind of service they render.I am a regular customer and send a big amount of money most of the time.This remittance company give me a hard time and I been asked to send proof of funds ID which I complied but asking for another documents..Not likely to recommend..

Sending money is not available after an hour before the receiver can actually received the money transferred, it takes half a day and until now they cant still get it.
