“Firstly, I apologise for the delay in leaving this review — I moved in April 2025 and it has been a very busy time settling in! I cannot recommend John Charcoal Mortgage Broker highly enough. From the very beginning, Gemma Clarke was absolutely fantastic. She was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire mortgage process. She explained everything clearly, kept me fully informed, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable. I always felt reassured and confident that I was in the very best hands. On completion, Alexa West was equally outstanding. She ensured everything was finalised seamlessly and kept communication consistent and clear right through to the end. Her efficiency, organisation, and attention to detail made the final stages completely stress-free. The teamwork, professionalism, and genuine care shown throughout the whole process truly stood out. “ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! James has honestly made the process from start to finish so easy going. Genuinely. “I would highly recommend Nicholas Teff for anyone looking for clear, honest, and professional advice on protection policies. From the beginning, he took the time to understand my personal and financial situation properly, including some complexities around international income, and explained everything in a way that was straightforward and easy to understand. He was patient, thorough, and always available to answer questions without making anything feel rushed or pressured. What stood out most was how carefully he structured the cover to match my mortgage and income needs, making sure I understood the reasoning behind each recommendation. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical knowledge with such a calm and reassuring approach. I felt fully informed and confident in every decision. “I would recommend John Charcol. I had help from multiple different people and they were all incredible at the job they did. Ezra Le Mon helped me out with getting my mortgage, there were a few bumps in the road but he was more than helpful in getting it resolved quickly and effectively and also got me a better deal overall. I spoke with Mohit Patel who was more than helpful in getting me set up with my insurance and making sure that I was covered in all aspects, he recommended services they work with who have been instrumental in making sure that I have everything ready for my property purchase. And finally, Eniko Kormendi, she has been absolutely vital in keeping me sane during this process, she was incredible and I can't thank her enough for all her help in making sure that I was understanding of everything happening and making sure that the solicitors were keeping me up to date or at least keeping her up to date so that we could have some sort of progress updates. My solicitors themselves weren't the greatest and Eniko was instrumental in making sure that we got this property purchase done on time. Thank you to all the team and I will definitely be using them again in the future for any remortgage/purchase I may have. They've been incredible!”

Dipak was very efficient, friendly, and consistently supportive throughout the entire process. I was very pleased with the mortgage deal he obtained for me, as well as the clear and helpful advice he provided along the way. The quality of communication was excellent from start to finish. I was kept regularly updated on my mortgage and was given all the support I needed to find the best mortgage product available. I look forward to working again with John Charcol and Dipak when it’s time to review and update my mortgage.”
