“Shaun Boyle and Alexa West gave me excellent support all the way through the re-mortgaging process, and were always cheerful and constructive in providing excellent advice. In particular, Shaun repeatedly went above and beyond in the run up to the date of re-mortgaging to ensure that I was still getting the best deal in a rapidly changing market situation. “Deepak, our mortgage advisor at John charcoal, was immensely helpful and instrumental in completing our transaction in time. Being first time buyers, we were unaware of many things but Deepak helped us to find a way and was always a phonecall away. It definitely reduced our stress and the process very smooth. “Andrew was able to obtain a mortgage for me after i struggled to get one. His service was second to none. He was quick, always offering advise and helped me to understand everything i needed to know along the way. Since my house purchase 3 years ago now, Andrew has now been able to obtain a mortgage for my daughter and is guiding her through the process too as a FTB. I have also now recommended him to my sister! If you have any doubts with your mortgage advisor then rest assured you wont with this firm, truly is a blessing in disguise. Give them a try and you wont be dissappointed.”

“My whole experience with all members of John Charcoal has been a pleasure. Adam Hussain, Tom Bridle and Emma Moores are informed, professional and personable through all the stages of the process. I am still going through my process, but the personal touch each have incorporated into their conversations have left me with feeling of understanding and acknowledgment. Whilst I have no complaints about their service (so far at least), it’s the people who have made this experience exceptional.”

“Shaahid Quinn takes his pride in his work to the next level. I have no hesitation in recommending him to family & friends. I will be using his services as needed again in the future. “Please be very careful when using the company for your mortgage needs. From my experience there was a complete lack of clarity when it came to fees you pay. My broker also went completely missing when it came to completion and the missed fees came to light from the brokers calculations. I raised a complaint with there ‘customer care’ team and after waiting a number of weeks without any call to discuss the matter. I just received an email which didn’t address my concerns and suggested if I wasn’t happy with there findings I contact the financial ombudsman.”

“Ezra found a mortgage that met out quite specific needs, which we would have struggled to find ourselves. He and Zerena then managed and guided us kindly through the process patiently answering our many questions. And importantly, they succeeded in meeting our very tight deadline without a hitch. Happy to recommend!”
