“I have used Jackson woodturners on quite a number of occasions and always found them to be good, reliable and the best product. This time however I was disappointed with the condition of the oak handrail I received. Whilst I appreciate the need to maximise profits this particular 3.6m length had no less than five different jointed sections of oak in its entirety. It doesn't look that good especially when you try and explain that to a customer. So please Jacksons try to make handrails in one continuous length or at least sections that look the same.”

“On every occasion I've used Jackson Woodturners the products ordered were sent correct, very well packaged, on time and of good quality too. On the rare occasion when items were damaged or poorer quality, they were rectified without hesitation. Highly Reccommend. Gary Drake. Carpenter/Joiner”

“The sales team were fantastic, providing superb advise on the choice of parts and after lots of calls back and forth with fitter they still managed to get it out to me in two days. The only reason the rating was Good instead of very good was the damaged delivery. It looked like the courier had actually driven over one of the packages but fortunately there was only a small bit of damage to one of the newel posts. I think is was luck the products were packaged so well, it looks like a hurricane had ripped through the back of the courier's vehicle.”

“Website wise could not really fault, although personal service when calling to ask a number of simple questions the staff were a little cold. Being an interior designer staircases are bit like light fittings either really expensive or fairly cheap with not much in the middle and trying to think out the box to achieve the right perceived value means you need to ask questions so a helpful team is imperative.”

“The service I received was excellent and the quality of the goods was also excellent. In my opinion one or two items need some improvement though, they are: 1. The on-line catalogue, Although very informative needs to be revised so that it is easier to use. For instance I wanted to purchase a selection of items for a handrail (The cottage loaf range) but it was a little difficult in that the handrail was located in one section and associated items i.e. up/down ramps etc. in another. there does not appear to be any logic in the layout which causes a lot of time being needed to make up a list of requirements. 2. The registration and payment section is just not user friendly and is confusing. I suggest that it needs revision. Other than that the staff were very helpful when I telephoned for guidance.”

“A very good sturdy stair rail of good quality. The only negative thing I would comment on is that the delivery service they use should ring with a firm date and approx time of delivery, as I missed this as I didn't know when to expect the product.”

“when I got the newel posts I found they weren't solid oak, squares clued together with a veneer round the outside, this was annoying as I was going to put a chamfer on the edges with my router also ordered 3 hand rails for the wall and also they are not solid but an infill, now I will have to try and buy some end caps now so you cant see it”

“Excellent service at Jackson Woodturners, good value for money. Having already placed an order and then realising we needed to change something on the order they were quick to amend this and the difference was refunded the same day! The only slight let down was the delivery service hence 'Good' and not 'Very Good', it was a Tuffnells delivery Lorry and the 2 guys were a little rude, the lengths were 3.6m long and I am a young female unable to carry these by myself and they weren't allowed in the property so it made things a little difficult.”
