“Purchased a replacement Acorn newel cap. Arrived on time, good quality product. The only reason i didn't give 5 stars was because I would like to have received an email order confirmation when I placed the order.”

“I have used Jacksons Woodturners on a number of occations they are very professional & the service is always reliable. However I do find the delivery service not so good as I always make a note to leave out of sight by my workshop but the driver chosses to ignor this or has not been told to & leaves it on my drive in full view of the busy road!”

“Ordered 32 primed turned spindles. Delivery received on the day promised. Quality of the finish was excellent, smooth with no signs of knots. Would have given 5* but every spindle had a sticky barcode label on it which took a long time to remove from the pristine painted surface of each one.”

“I have ordered a couple of times from them now. The oak I've ordered looked of the highest grade. Items come wrapped very well. Did have an problem fitting the oak spindle's into the hand & base rails as the fit was super tight almost causing the rails to split. Had to chamfer them all to to go in. I did have an issue with the courier service they used. I spoke to one of the team & asked for my items to be put at the back of my property which had easy access. But as I arrived home the items were placed outside my front door I plain sight for anyone to see, & the items weren't small.”

“We bought a base rail, a newel post and 16 pine plain square spindles. The base rail was fine, the newel post had minor dents on a couple of edges but no worse than it will get during normal daily use. I had ordered 1 extra spindle and 3 had to be cut shorter to fit as 2 had significant knots that would have required filling, 1 had a split and one had damage to an edge caused by previous banding that had been applied too tightly. Thankfully we were able to cut the damaged spindles to use only good sections to complete our project. The order process was easy and customer services assistance with discussing delivery was very helpful. With regard to delivery, this was made on the day indicated but it would have been helpful if the delivery slot could have been narrowed to morning or afternoon.”
