“A nice piece of luggage, lightweight and roomy. There's a big but, though. When fully loaded, it easily tips over onto its front unless you're holding the handle. That is both awkward and embarrassing when it happens and there's the potential to hurt someone if it lands on them.”

However, by your own submission, the damage to your item 'happened at some point during handling and transit' between airports.
