“Love the Glasgow store - fresh and different. I was dealt with very professionally and found it easy to find a frame that suited and get measured for a new prescription really quickly. 2 weeks later my glasses arrived - they look great, fit really well and are super clear - and great value. Would highly recommend Iolla to anyone looking for a different optician experience.”

“All of the staff at the Iolla Branch in the Edinburgh, St James's Centre, are exceptionally helpful, polite, and efficient! I was impressed by the selection of frames on offer although a little disappointed when I discovered that some rather nice frames only came in one size, that is, the size on display. It would be nice if in the fullness of time that Iolla could offer some styles in more than one size - one size does not fit all when it comes to spectacle frames. I was impressed with the way that my prescription for varifocal lenses was measured up and, even more impressed with how quickly my glasses were made up and delivered to my home. I believe that the price I paid is unrivalled by most other players in the eye-ware market.”

“The entire staff (Finnieston branch) were really warm, welcoming and helpful. Katie, who dealt with my order and took me through measurements etc, was so friendly and made sure I was happy with my choice. A fantastic experience all round, I’ve been raving about the shop to friends, and I’m definitely coming back for more frames!”

“I found IOLLA by googling for colourful glasses as I was so bored of the men's options in my local opticians - and replacing just my lenses there would have cost £140. I was a bit skeptical of ordering made-to-order prescription glasses over the internet without having tried them on before, but the mix of having virtual try-on, plus having the measurements published meant I had some confidence that the frames would look good before purchasing. I also worried about the included lens thinning as I'm about -5 in each eye, and normally get the thinnest options for lenses. But I needn't have worried about anything - my funky Bell glasses arrived and look fantastic! The price is phenomenal, it's completely changed my opinion about how much glasses & lenses should cost. I loved them so much that I immediately bought another pair (Anderson) in clear mint, which also look amazing and true to the website. I've been raving to my friends since about IOLLA, what a great business model! You will certainly have more repeat business from me in the years to come and also family & friends.”

“Ive been going to IOLLA since 2019 and I've never had a bad experience! The staff are always friendly and approachable, and there are loads of different designs to choose from! I went for the Maxwell frames in matte black.”

“Since switching over 3 years ago from one of the bigger well known opticians in the UK i haven't ever looked back. 5 star service all round from the team in Glasgow CIty Centre every single visit. 3 frames and around 10-15 visits in total my experiences are only getting better and better. Great selection of frames with some great colours and designs.”
