“Recently purchased the foldable Bell frame clip on sunglasses in gold chrome with brown tinted lenses. The tinted lenses are a great colour and easy to see through when attached (simple process of application). Only minor visual issues when viewing a phone/digital screen. I did expect the frame to be warm gold as depicted in the online photos but the actual tone is far more of a ‘cool gold tone’, so cool I thought there had been a mix up at the factory process but was assured this was the final product. Speedy response from the company but the delivery was somewhat delayed. Still love the design aspects!”

“This is my second pair of glasses from iolla, I loved the frames so much on my first pair I decided to get a second pair in a different colour. So easy to order very reasonably priced. I have paid a considerable lot more from high street opticians.”

“Really happy with my glasses and how they fit. One downside, if you are going to continue to post glasses out to to people, perhaps revert back to the old style box. The new triangle cases don’t fit through the letter box… 🙃”

“Once I had chosen my glasses the service was great. I would have liked a bit more help to choose. The choice is great, as is the pricing. I have a more complicated prescription so I was pleasantly surprised when it was still included in £75 price.”

“A lovely shop with very courteous assistants who try to accommodate their customers as far as is possible. Pleased with my glasses, day wear and a pair of sunglasses, very competitive pricing. Just wish there was a branch in my town!”

“Painless experience so far. Though it would be good if they could open up Stockbridge branch, as accessing Edinburgh town centre is a nightmare if you are visiting the city.”

“Lovely glasses and great quality with the price. Helpful, friendly staff. Error made with my prescription but quickly rectified and sent me a £30 voucher to apologise which was a nice touch that I didn’t expect!”

“I love my new glasses. Really please with them. Thank you. However, I found the staff in-store pretty unfriendly. I'm really glad I persevered be asue I'm please with my specs, and plan to buy again. I will not enjoy going back into the shop though.”

Last year we increased our prices which saw the single vision Refresh service increase from £45 to £50. Since our launch, we’ve made some big changes at IOLLA to push forward our product quality and overall service standards. In order to continue to build a business that is a force for good, we had made some changes to our pricing. This is the first time we’ve made any major changes to our price in 5 years.

“The frames are strong and from an excellent selection. Note that each frame type comes in either wide, medium or narrow so find out what size your head is before selecting. It took me a while to work this out”
