“Iolla are brilliant to buy from. Part of my order was wrong but I contacted Iolla and got quick and helpful advice on how to to return the incorrect order and the correct order arrived soon afterwards. I have been buying their glasses frames for some years now and they are the nicest frames I have ever had and I have been wearing glasses since I was 5! I love being able to support a Scottish business.”

“Love my MacDonald glasses. Bought two pairs in the end. Slight delay with the first pair due to a mix up in the shop, but only a day or two late.”

“Iolla delivered on exactly what they said. Great quality and service! The glasses are excellent! The only feedback would be to be careful when using the virtual try on. It’s not exactly accurate when it comes to sizes etc. But even that is pretty good to get a rough idea!”

“I know the shop has limited space, but a more quiet and calm area for taking down details would be a huge improvement. I found background noise made understanding conversation very difficult. Quality and service otherwise fine.”

“Very relaxed, easy. Especially after all the Covid restrictions. Chose frames. As a previous customer all my measurements were already on file. Same frames for sight and sun. Delivery quite prompt. Very nice spec cases. No problems”

“Lovely, Quirky, Unique frames. I bought 3 pairs! Even the optician was wow-ing and raving about them. That said, communication and delivery timeline by the IOLLA team needs to be improved.”

“Loved the sunglasses I bought. Very helpful, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. I love to be able to support a local business instead of a big box store! I actually popped in to buy normal prescription glasses, and all the glasses were too wide for my face and made me look like a wee granny. One pair suited me but the colour options weren’t great. I’m still on the hunt for a new pair so hopefully there’s some new options soon! I’d love to be able to buy another pair from Iolla.”

“Great service in compliance with guidelines. Wide collections of style though like many opticians haven’t updated with new pairs of glasses or expanded on colours available over lockdown. One thing that has changed is the quality of fabric lens cloth which feels thinner/cheaper and easily leaves smears on lenses. I love the rest of the packaging and design.”

At IOLLA we don’t aim to be the cheapest out there but we do strive to deliver fantastic value for our glasses at £75 for single vision glasses including an antireflective coating and lens thinning for high prescriptions. “Glasses arrived in post and are perfect. Not convinced the clip on sunglasses will last the Summer-seem a bit cheap and flimsy”

“Good quality specs and at much more realistic prices than main opticians. Very pleasant staff. The only thing I would ask is to add tinted lenses to your range.”

“I now have three pair of Iolla spectacles and I am delighted with them, my only gripe is the new triangular case. If there was some way I could purchase one of the box shaped one’s I would be delighted tried both Glasgow shops to no avail, other than this it would be 5 stars.”
