“Our sale was lengthened by the buyer using the Auction team solicitors. I would not recommend anyone using them as they made an easy sale much more complicated then it needed to be. We would also recommend that the Auction team look at the rules for the cost of the buy. This was due to our buyers being first time buyers and could not afford the costs which we had to pay or lose the buyer. It is a shame that there is not a clause where the costs could have been reduced for us to proceed. From speaking to all the contacts at the Auction team we found them to be very helpful and pleasant.”

“The auction coordinators were very efficient and always kept me up to date with progress. They were proactive in offering advice regarding auction pricing and worked to secure interest in the property. Once the sale had been made the administration staff were also very efficient in handling the procedures to get the sale completed and kept me well informed of progress throughout. The only negative part about the auction was that we were only able to secure a sale by lowering the price to an amount that we feel does not provide us with full satisfaction, but our circumstances left us with little option.”

“EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE KEPT INFORMED OF PROGRESS BY MICHELLE WHO WAS MY CONTACT WITH IAM SOLD, ONLY ISSUE I HAD WAS THE VERY HIGH NON REFUNDABLE RESERVATION FEES CHARGED BY IAM SOLD AND FOR THIS REASON I WOULD VERY RELUCTANT TO BUY THROUGH THEM AGAIN”

“I must say I am a little dissolutioned about the whole process. I was sold the auction route by Browns as it gave possibilities of greater sale values than direct through the estate agents. There were plenty of viewers and plenty of offers which to my mind was perfect for an auction. Yet I was strongly advised to settle on an offer below the reserve price to secure the sale. What I wasn't made aware of before signing up was the cost to the buyer was £6,000 and this comes out of his maximum spend therefore leaving less to purchase the property with. Had the same buyer gone via the Estate Agent direct I would be better off on the deal. Having said all that Amy did a very professional job and was efficient throughout the whole process. We got a quick sale at what was probably a reasonable price. In summary I believe the agents who are promoting yourselves should be more informative so a clearer picture of the process is given. Had I had all the facts at the front end I may have chosen to stick with the estate agent to maximise my return.”
