I am finding the course worthwhile but slow going. I believe this is because I teach L2 by immersion.... one to one in Britain.......which, through my life at the present time and in Japan and Korea, I have come believe in this approach as essential for most who wish to become fluent. However, I am pleased to learn more about stages ... lesson structure PPP.. ,similar to Tokyo Course without the labeling, and to combine my communicative style with direct methodology and Grammar Translation through experiences and relevant opportunity

The 20 hour teaching course was really useful and gives lots of practical exercises and useful tips to use in the classroom. Theresa was a really engaging teacher, with lots of energy and enthusiasm. She kept us all motivated, even though there is a lot to learn in a short period of time.

I had no issues with this course. It was informative and is geared to learners who have little to no experience in teaching English as second/foreign language. I have studied this in university, so the course was also a great review for and I learnt new things about teaching in an EFL environment as well. I did have to push a little bit to ensure that my certificate was mailed to me via DHL as emails I sent with that request were not answered. However, when I called and made that request, it was no bother to get done and I received my certificate with no issues.

I did the Thailand internship in October 2016, I had an amazing experience at the school and got to do some travelling around on the weekends however I would like to highlight that none of the money you pay actually goes to the schools which I really wasn't happy about when I found out as many of the schools have limited resources.

I have just completed the 120 Hour Online Course, as I am going on the Thailand TEFL Experience in January. This course was good, really good. Although nervous to start (I have previously been a Teaching Assistant, but have no experience planning a lesson and teaching an entire class), I now feel fairly confident that I'll be okay out in Thailand. The course provides content in four main areas- Planning a Lesson, Lesson Content, Making It Work In The Classroom, and Course Assessment. Don't get me wrong; these sections aren't easy. Involved is A LOT of note taking, content understanding, and tests- and it isn't easy. However, I managed to complete the course in three weeks (baring in mind I work full-time), I worked every. single. evening. from 5.30pm to past 12am, but i did it! With a bit of hard work, I think anybody could do it. It is very useful and has helpful tests throughout the sections, in order for you to make sure you're on the right track. There are some elements of the course that I think could be improved, they aren't big things, but it would be great if they were considered. The first point would be to PLEASE HAVE A PROGRESS TRACKER! I can't say this enough. When it's late in the night and you've just completed whatever section- you want to see where you're at! You need to know that that you're on the right track and making sufficient progress. As theres a lot of note taking, some people may work slower than others- and how many hours you've spent on the course, doesn't necessarily mean you've completed that many hours. Luckily I have a fantastic partner who is a whizz on Microsoft Excel and he managed to make a progress chart for me, so I had a rough idea where I was in the course. It helped a lot when my motivation was down. Another not-so-great part of the course, was the information I was given about it. The Customer Service team are great, however I've found that some of the information they gave me was a little bit contradictory. I didn't join onto the course until the 17th November 16 and as it's three months long- my course ran out in February 17 (but I was going on the Thailand Experience in January). I was very concerned that I wouldn't complete the course in time for going as I only had a month and a half, rather than three). However, I was reassured on the phone that it didn't matter and I could complete it whilst in Thailand and if I need an extension, I could get one out there. Once I got my welcome pack for the course- it said that my course must be finished at least 14 days before departure to Thailand, or I can't teach. On separate occasions I emailed, called, and spoke on the live chat to try and get answers and I was again reassured that I don't need to complete it before departure. Although, the Terms and Conditions stated otherwise, and said again that it must be completed before departure. I also got an email through, reminding everybody to send all their documents off and a note saying "complete your TEFL course 2 weeks before departure – We must have a copy of your certificate before you can teach." So in the end, I just made sure it was completed, because after all, whether the team say I would be okay to finish it out in Thailand, I would rather be safe than sorry. So please, just give clear answers next time! For all other questions and concerns that I've had, the customer service team have been great (especially those on the live chat, they are very helpful and if they don't know the answer, they'll get somebody who does). The course is really worth doing- I am now qualified and very much looking forward to going to Thailand in the new year! I'll be back to let you know how that went. Thank you to the TEFL team for making this all possible.

This course was a huge boost in my current teaching, both in theory and in practice. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to level-up their TEFL teaching. I will definitely be using the wealth of information acquired. The course is very organised and structured. What would make this course even better was if the progress were easier to see. For example, it would help to have some kind of a meter that showed how many hours have been completed or what percentage has been completed.

The 120 Hours Online i-to-i TEFL course is well structured and it is organized in three sections. The explanations are simple but at the same time detailed to let the individual prepare himself to become an English teacher. All the materials provided are useful. I enjoyed taking this course and I think I will make extensive use of the information found in the future.

I was very pleased to experience this course. Once I started I found myself hooked and I sat for long periods going through the many facets of the course. There are many forms of resources available as well as actual in class videos which were very insightful. I come from a training background and therefore teaching in a class room has a different dynamic. I was very happy with the guidance I received.

I enjoyed the course. It was straightforward and easy to understand. I found a few of the quizzes a bit odd, but no one is perfect. Overall, I'm very glad I did the course and would recommend it to anyone interested in entering the TEFL world. I am still nervous about teaching, but I definitely feel more confident and prepared than before.

Great for building confidence, and an overall fun and informative weekend that you should attend if you think you'd feel nervous teaching for the first time.

I really enjoyed the lessons. For the most part, I felt the lessons were easy to understand, easy to apply, and very informative. I had some preconceived notions of what teaching English would be like. After going through this course, I realized that teaching English was not what I thought it was. I was expecting it to be more formal and typical like in most educational systems such as sitting in your seat, listening to your teacher's lecture, reading your book, and doing your homework. Its much more than that, and is more about making lessons fun, interesting, and engaging. I thought the tips, tricks, and strategies for English speaking, reading, writing, and listening were very practical. I liked the lessons, especially about games. I thought the lessons about finding TEFL jobs and how to apply them was the most useful as I intend to teach English overseas. There are some minor gripes about the system. I could not get access to the videos. There were times I would just skip the video because it would either take way too long or not play at all. I wondered if this had to do with my browser or something happening within i to i. My other gripe was the fill in the blank. I felt it was a little too unforgiving. Miss one letter out of the word, and you get the question wrong. Often at times, the letter would either require or not require pluralization by adding or leaving out an "s" at the end of the sentence. Miss that, and you get penalized. Other than that, I felt the course was worth the money spent.

I felt the program was very informative and interesting in terms of teaching esl students overseas. I felt the technique and tips were simple, yet effective in teaching English to foreign students.

I found the overall course quite informative and easy to complete. Some of the directions on the activities could use more specific guidelines as well as more specific feedback on the tasks.

Any complaints or issues I had were answered promptly. I do hope some of my comments regarding video sound quality is addressed for future students. Someone should proof read the course particularly Part B as there are numerous errors in repeated words and wrong words ie "out" instead of "our" Also asking questions 'chose one of the following' which I did, then i-to-i answer to the selections is one that isn't in the options provided eg Part B "Cover Letters" is a good example where this has happen
