“This course has really helped me understand what my role as a TEFL teacher will look like. I feel far more prepared for the job than I did beforehand; especially in terms of lesson planning. Feedback from tutors has been encouraging and super helpful. I would definitely recommend taking this course to people who are maybe anxious about pursuing a TEFL job.”

“I signed on to I-to-I TEFL in November 2019 no knowing if I was doing the right thing, hoping that they were not a scam like many others who grab your money and leave you in the dark. I was so thankful as an online assistant helped me to navigate my way through the best suitable course that would suit my end aim best, I wanted to work only online, from my home office. Although I have plenty of great experience in many fields of business, I needed to have the certified qualification to assure the students that I would be teaching. The chat assistant on the site heard me out, asked some strategic questions, suggested the Level 3 course,180 hr course which comprises 120hrs,and 2 30hr courses included, plus a separate Online Teaching course. Once I had paid, within 24hrs my course information and log in details were in my inbox. I-to-i TEFL is helpful, any queries are sorted out immediately as the have call Centre numbers in all areas, with such wonderful and truly helpful staff. I can honestly say they are great to deal with, old fashioned excellent customer service provided on modern media, will keep you informed of updates and bend over backwards to include you in their commitment to the teaching community once you sign up with them. You cannot go wrong with them, the are the best there is, ask me, I am a researcher and did my homework before choosing i-to-i TEFL. I”

“The company are very helpful when you contact them with enquiries. I would reccomend the internship in Vietnam if it is your first time teaching as they help to arrange everything for you and you also get the opportunity to meet great people so you are not on your own”

“I to I TEFL is a great platform to learn different teaching techniques. It really takes into account the concept of how first language would effect the learning experience and how to tackle it. It also gives countless fun activities for the classroom. The only negatives I have is that it can a very classroom centric and not as much about teaching online, which I am mostly interested in. Secondly, when I was invited to take on the course by the sales person they did not bother checking if I knew English well myself, they said you don’t need to as everything will be taught but afraid that’s not true. Overall, excellent course!”

“Terrible. The course content was extremely poor, most of it obvious, the quizzes and tests were even worse, again, most questions could be guessed easily and were frankly stupid, something along the lines of ‘if a student gets a question wrong should you A. Shout at them so they don’t make any more mistakes or B. Explain the answer. But worse than the course is how extortionate i-to-i are. I have been forced by them to pay various ‘extra’ fees throughout the course. The worst of which was for assignment extensions. I found that when marking assignments they had a tendency to only give you part of the corrections needed, then when you have corrected it and sent it back they would take 7 days to mark it, then give you the next thing that needs to be corrected and so on until you ran out of time and have to pay an extra £40 or so for a 15 day extension. Why not just give all the feedback at once? Other things they charged me for was an email from them confirming that i was doing the course, why you would charge £20 for an email stating I was doing it I cannot imagine... But they did all the same, disgraceful behaviour. I strongly advise anyone to avoid i-to-i.”

Thanks for taking the time to give us a review. I’m disappointed to read your comments as we aim to provide a course that is informative, helpful and enjoyable. I’m sorry you didn’t find this to be the case. Some of the tests may seem obvious but these are designed to confirm you have understood the content and to build confidence. The feedback when you submitted your assignment should be full and detailed according to the work you submitted. If you do not feel this was the case then please contact us on customersupport@i-to-i.com – we can look into this for you. When you start your course, you’re given a set amount of study time to complete it and we do charge for extensions after that. The amount of time given is well over the average time needed to avoid extensions in most cases. We do not delay giving feedback and will always try to mark submissions as quickly as we can, normally within 3 days. However, if you are towards the end of your study time and need to make alterations then an extension might be needed. We also receive a high volume of requests for official completion letters that are needed by some employers and charge a small admin fee (£9) for these to be administered. Once again, I’m really sorry to hear you are unhappy with our service and would encourage you to contact us directly on customersupport@i-to-i.com if you feel that you’ve had to buy extensions unnecessarily.
