“My first point of contact was Jessica Jackson. Her prompt response and positive upbeat attitude immediately made me feel as though I was making the right choices. “This is a customer service review. Not a product review. Tom Stephenson served me on my initial call. I specifically requested him for my follow up call, in which he made the sale. Tom: - was well articulated in speech and communicated professionally and efficiently. - has exceptional product knowledge. - was friendly and amicable throughout our conversations. - frankly, sold the product well. He was a perfect sales representative and his efforts should be recognised. Should the product be as described by him, I shall be a happy little boy.”

“Overall my experience with i-to-i was not brilliant, the courses are very inflexible, with "admin fees" at every corner. The course content is very basic and taught me very little i didn't already know, however it did go through the basics with some competence. I found the layout of the material to be incredibly poor at some points, and found several typos and structural issues. I've included some of the notable examples below: In the "pronunciation" section the content immediately assumed the learner to have a southern RP English accent. As a Scot I found most of this section incredibly unhelpful and I'm sure the majority of brits who don't have a southern RP English accent would agree, and would have appreciated at least a disclaimer at the start of the section (there was a very small disclaimer at the END of the section. Not helpful). The wording of many of the quiz questions was confusing and needs reviewing. At unit 7.5 the course covers tenses. The introduction shows the tenses in chronological order, but the later content follows in a completely nonsensical order. These are just some small examples of problems I found with the course in general, so that I overall found the content pretty unprofessional and unsatisfying, especially for the price I paid. Add on to this the administrative fees and certificate fees and it's just mad. With that price I expect much more detailed tutor feedback (which was very basic) and course content that flows in a logical way. I have two reasons for giving two stars instead of one: the first being that the course really does cover the basics well, it's just vastly overpriced. The second being Amy from customer service, who listened patiently to my tirade about my poor experience, quickly and efficiently sorted out my certificate issues and was overall incredibly helpful. I would give an extra star just for her but I want to be honest with my review. She deserves a raise.”

“I have only just downloaded all the resources and they look very good. I have taken a classroom TEFL but as I teach solely online this has been a real find which I am looking forward to starting. It was good to find a company with an office in my country which made my mind up. I have been ill and out of the loop for over 3 years and I think this will be a good place to start again from where I am now. Onwards and upwards.”

“I have completed the i-to-i Level 5 + Teaching English One-to-One & Online + Teaching Business English, as well as doing all the Practice Sessions. I was lucky enough to have Lisa Triani as my "mentor" for both the Physical and Online Practice Sessions. The course itself was more challenging than I expected, but I learnt things that I didn't even know I needed to learn! More than anything though, the Practice Sessions are what have given me the confidence to start teaching. Lisa is a real inspiration!”

“I started the TEFL course 2 months ago. I always wanted to do it, but because of the job, I thought I wouldn't have been able to manage the time. I am so happy I have decided to try, because I have realized that the course is so well structured , and the team always available for any help. I recommend the course to anyone who really like teaching English, because the course is extremely helpful and the opportunities are numerous. “I just completed the Level 5 TEFL course. I will compare it to the Level 3 course I also took with i-to-i and say that the Level 5 does require more homework, but that's where the added value is. There was a bit more variety of learning types with the Level 5 in that each section had a short introduction video and there were several videos to show how teaching with the methods actually looks in real life. I would like to see some more interaction, even if only with an AI. I do see how an in-person course would be better for me in general, but they also cost substantially more. Overall, it was a good value for the price. If I had it to do over again I would still have chosen the level 5 over the level 3 only because the homework assignments really showed me the amount of thought and work that must go into each lesson.”

“Very supportive staff who were ever so patient and helpful. The tutors also marked the assignments very quickly which allowed me to move through the qualification quicker. Their feedback was very honest but supported and has really allowed me to reflect on what I have learnt. Online material is something I find difficult as it I love to have a book to hand but the material wasn’t too overwhelming and the quizzes at the end of each module really helped. The two day face to face training was also a great experience for me. I was really scared initially it was so much fun and so engaging.”
