“This company makes the best offer in the world and also a very fine range of teas., along with every kind of accessory you will ever need, but will undoubtedly want to buy.They will ship it anywhere in the world, and by using DPD you are guaranteed it will arrive safely at its destination, and of course this will be confirmed to you . I have been drinking their coffee for only a few years but every grain has been beautifully roasted and accurately described.I have only just started drinking their tea ( previously I was a Liquorice and Peppermint fan, but no more ): their current Christmas tea tastes lightly and deliciously of Cinnamon and is divine. Mr Tony and Mr David, your father and grandfather, respectively, would be immensely proud to see how well you have carries on the family tradition. I hope Elizabeth treats herself regularly.”

“Huge range of teas and coffees that I have been enjoying for over 30 years. Quick delivery and excellent packing of the leaves and beans. The coffees come in a sealed pouch with a valve that keeps coffee beans in perfect condition for months kept in a cool place. Once opened I freeze the beans and grind them from frozen. I blend different beans to get the perfect cup.”

“The coffee, as always, is excellent and cannot be faulted. Thank you. However we are sad to say that we will no longer be purchasing from you while ever you continue to use DPD for delivery, as opposed to Royal Mail who you used to use. DPD have a completely inflexible system whereby they insist on you opening your front door and allowing them to photograph the parcel inside your home. We have a side conservatory door that we use exclusively but that is not good enough for them, they insist on the front door. Which we don't want to open a) because we have an indoor only cat who we don't want to get out and b) because it's an intrusion on our privacy. We have complained to DPD at the highest level (regarding a different delivery) and were told different stories by different people. "It's because of Covid." "It's nothing to do with Covid." How can anyone have any faith in a set up where the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing? So I'm sorry, we will miss your coffee but until you go back to using Royal Mail we have no alternative but to look elsewhere.”

“All my purchases were for gifts,so I can’t vouch to their quality! But I have been a customer of H.R. Higgins for some time and I have always found that their coffees and teas were of the highest quality.I must mention their partnership with the Highlander Chocolatier :We have been buying their chocolates nearly since they started, and they are most delicious!! It was a wise move!”

“My favourite tea is Darjeeling tippy orange flowering pekoe. Sadly due to Covid this has not been imported. After a query so promptly answered I have ordered Sikkim TOFP. I am saving that for my Christmas present to myself. The Earl,Grey my daily infusion is superb. The afternoon blend, that is my first time is such a disappointment. I doesn’t taste of anything. I will not be ordering again.”
