“Great selection of coffee beans. Was really impressed. Still have a couple of taster kits to get through but was mostly excited about the Galapagos coffee which has a great hazelnut like flavour. Overall HR Higgins has always been my favourite spot for coffee so it’s nice to still be able to experience it whilst we’re stuck at home”

“No problem with the tea but delivery was. The day I was told to have delivery, I was waiting near the door so that I wouldn’t miss the delivery, but only the following day I was told that the delivery would be delayed, so I waited for it without going out. A few days later when it finally arrived, they didn’t bother knocking on my door but just went to my next door and left it there. According the mail, they were supposed to have knocked on my door first, and if I don’t answer they were supposed to leave it next door. I waited near the door all the time so that I don’t miss the delivery. I was not happy about it.”

“Shop customer for 20yrs, now ordering online thanks to Covid19. HRH is still The Rolls Royce for quality and intention. But.....I wonder on price; there's a lot of competition these days and HRH is - for example - double the price/kg compared to my cheapest (home) supplier. I also wonder if a bit of coffee-culture 'modernisation' is due: eg 'roasted date' on my bulging bags of Creole Blend beans, or comprehensive brew recipes online (not just a couple). Anyways, all can be forgiven so long as the Kibo Chagga doesn't run out.”

“We have purchased our coffee from Higgons for over 20 years. Service - excellent both in the shop and by post. We mostly buy coffee beans with a favoured bean. The selection is extensive and a good roasting range. They also stock the required accessories for a good coffee brew. Thank goodness we have store like Higgin who continue to value good quality products and provide us with the added value and a great service. Please continue to do what you are doing.”
