Ordered the speakers on the 11th. Here I am on the 19tth without anything. My sons birthday surprise is in tatters as he now has a gaming PC with no sound.

Ordered equipment got a delivery date. Took a day off work. DPD didn’t deliver. Spoke to shop who didn’t call back. Spoke to shop. Still didn’t call back. Asked to cancel order 4 days ago. Haven’t heard anything since.

I ordered some head phones, paid for them had confirmation and also a delivery date, but then had an email saying they were out if stock and to await a refund.

Upon opening I noticed there were a few scratch marks on the front of the stand. I will have to somehow hide the marks. Apart from that everything else was fine

Item "dispatched", the 4 days later get a refund with no explanation. Guess I'll be going elsewhere then....

Order some 'open box' speakers on a Saturday. Received an email on Monday morning confirming speakers had been despatched for next day delivery. Then received another email Monday evening to say the speakers were no longer available! Not impressed really.

Ordered an item (Pro-Ject Tube Box S2) at 13.20 on Thursday 27/10/22 which qualified for delivery the next day as I had ordered the item before 15.00. On Friday 28/10 I emailed Home AV Direct at 16.00 asking why I had not received a delivery update. I then got a load of flannel from one of the support team (Vee) who blamed DPD for the delay and that the delivery date would be Monday 31/10. Home AV Direct provided me with a tracking number. On checking the tracking number I noted that the supply of the item was not Home AV Direct but Henley Designs. When I challenged the contact at Home AV Direct they said that the item was out of stock when I ordered it so Home AV "DIRECT" arranged for it to be sent by Henley Designs. I suggested that in future they might like to be more upfront about the status of an order rather than give a load of flannel. I cannot recommend Home AV Direct.

The price of the product in my cart increased without warning. I noticed the day after placing my order when looking at my invoice. Wasn't very happy, contacted customer support and they've ignored me. I went with Home AV Direct because they were originally £10 cheaper than Amazon, but ended up being £20 more expensive. Won't be bothering with them again.

Bracket was dirty, in a damaged / incomplete box, packed with empty remote control boxes to 'protect' it. It appears to be either second-hand or a display second. Appreciate the price is lower than elsewhere, but the description did not reflect the condition it's in, there was no indication that it was not a brand new item.

Bought discounted open box white Dali Spektor 2 speakers from them. The delivery was quick which I liked very much but the condition of the speakers was very poor. Dirty, with lots of finger prints on fabric speaker covers. I expected that the product will be in mint condition, well what a disappointment.

Ordered and paid for item to then be told it was out of stock. When arrived delivered to an address they said they couldn't deliver to so no ody was there which then cost me £10 to redeliver to correct address with no offer to reimburse just offered to recall item and redeliver to correct address making it even later.

Ordered a DaC on 11/12/20 with 48 hour delivery but still not here 9 days later. Now missed the window to re-post after wrapping as it’s a Christmas present. ☹️

Whilst purchase and delivery were very efficient, customer service and approach towards returns is slow and outdated and not particularly helpful which is a real shame.

Sometimes, despite best intentions, things just don’t go to plan and sadly my purchase from Home AV Direct seemed to be one such occasion. I ordered an AV amp and speaker bundle, paying extra for next day delivery. I had a call and email at the 11th hour from Home AV Direct customer services to say they had no rear speakers in stock in the right colour (website must not show live stock, as they were still available there), but offering to send me some white ones as a temporary loan. I declined, but was grateful for the offer. Then when the packages arrived, I opened the boxes to find the fronts that had been sent were the wrong colour. When I got in touch to ask for replacements I was asked to supply a photo. A bit strange, especially given that I was buying a package, so it’s not like I could confuse the colour... they don’t match the others (well, of course I only had the centre to compare it with at this stage, but it was pretty obvious). Replacement fronts were sent when the rears finally arrived (over a week later) and the courier took the incorrect ones away. Finally I had my complete package and was able set everything up, only to find a continual buzz coming from the subwoofer. I’d set it up with the supplied QED cable. I replaced it with one bought from Kabel-direct, and that cured the problem. We got there in the end, but I didn’t get much value from the £15 next day delivery, which I’ve not been refunded, and I’m also down by the cost of a subwoofer cable.

Price, condition and delivery of the product could not be faulted - all were good. My only suggestion would be that your staff need more training on the products themselves. I had issues in setting up my new speaker system and needed technical support, I called and Home AV Direct were friendly and polite but lacked any real knowledge to assist me. Overall, a good experience but more product knowledge would have made it a great experience.
