Delivery by DPD was a shambles. I was in all day then got an email saying "Oh no, we've missed you." They then sent a photo of the front door of a house to show that they had been there, but it wasn't our house. We are actually on the first floor of a block of flats. In case the driver was hopeless instead of just way behind schedule I arranged for it to be delivered the next day to a pick up point.

Feedback from review sites was great, so I ordered from HOME AV.direct. What was annoying is an "in-stock" item available for next day delivery, wasn't in-stock and took nearly a week to arrive.

Ordered a Sonos Move; the next day, a couple of hours after getting a "your item has been dispatched" email, I got a phone call advising me they were out of stock. They did refund me immediately, but it was a bit annoying that it delayed me a day from getting it from somewhere that did actually have it.

On the plus side the online ordering and very fast delivery were excellent, however, the item delivered had clearly been opened before which was not mentioned in the description.

Great service and quick supply of a musical fidelity headphone amp but an order for AKG headphones was cancelled as there was no stock. In my opinion they should'nt appear as in stock on the website when there aren't any. When searching for them I found a pair on your website and another pair elsewhere but ordered from you as the previous service was good. Unfortunately by the time the notification that the order couldn't be fulfilled arrived the other other website showed as out of stock. Would use you again if you were the cheapest option but you wouldn't be my "go to" option.

Received "order despatched" email but it wasn't actually posted until five days later. And only then once I'd chased it up. OK, but not great.

I am moderately satisfied. I ordered HP Q acoustics 3050 in December. The transaction was perfect. I wanted to complete my equipment with the Q acoustics 3070S subwoofer I received a very damaged package and the product was clearly not completely new ....

The item was a birthday gift for my daughter and arrived the next day however, as the order was not wrapped and the order was signed for by my daughter it ruined her birthday surprise!

Bought a Astell & Kern XB10 DAC from them; it arrived in good condition but the box had clearly been already opened and was a returned/demo item, NOT new as you would expect. I would have returned it with a complaint except it's a run-out item so stock was very low and the actual DAC itself was fine. Delivery was quick.

Product bought at the best price on the market but delivery was 72 hours late. Excuse was stock exhaustion as a result of Black Friday - which I’m guessing they knew was coming. Needed the headphones by a deadline which was subsequently missed. Refund requested when told of this and informed this would take 3 weeks to action. Disappointing that I didn’t get what I wanted when I wanted it but understand this can happen. It was the rather throwaway attitude to the missed delivery deadline with little or no recognition of the fact that I may have been inconvenienced that was mildly frustrating.

Disappointing results as satellite receiver seems to have much greater influence over sound than the sound box. If the sat. box sound is turned to zero this also mutes the sound box and I cannot find a way round this.

I live outside the UK and was advised by the Home AV Direct website to phone and check final delivery costs. Although the salesperson corrected these costs to my benefit, I was left with the opinion that I was of no real interest to him and was hurried off the phone. Shame.

One item sent was the incorrect model, another item not sent. Spoke to Rob next day who was excellent to sort it out.

My package arrived after a few days, however it was only placed in a small plastic bag for freight. The cardboard box for the product was a bit damaged when removing the plastic. I can’t check if the product is damaged as it’s a gift.
