“The taxi ride on from Palma Airport on 2nd September to the hotel was exactly what I was hoping for, and expected.
The taxi ride back from the hotel on 12th September from the hotel couldn’t have been more different. The taxi was 10 minutes late in arriving (after us getting to the hotel reception 15 minutes early as requested) and the ride was hair-raising, to say the least. For the first 15 minutes or so I thought the driver could have lost control and left the road at any moment. He was constantly changing hands on the steering wheel, talking (to me, seemed quite excitedly and animatedly) on his mobile, and fiddling and alternately looking at his mobile and the sat-nav - and at one time may have momentarily not even had a hand on the steering wheel at all. For the remainder of the journey, he may not have been on his mobile but I felt less than safe to say the least and it was a relief to get out at the airport – and my wife was really shaken up. I actually said to my wife that I wondered whether or not he was on some sort of medication but she was more benevolent and thought he may have just been a bit late in getting up.”
“We waited 75 minutes for our transfer from Antalya airport. We were collected in a people carrier with a few other passengers. It soon became clear that the driver did not know where our hotel was and constantly referred to his satnav. What should have been a half hour journey became well over 2 hours. Eventually we were dropped on the pavement and told that the vehicle could not negotiate the narrow streets. No indication of where our hotel was - he just pointed up a narrow street and drove off. The hotel turned out to be a half hour walk on cobbled uphill streets dragging our suitcases. (*bear in mind that we are both 78 & 80 yearsold respectively.) During our stay we observed many similar vehicles depositing passengers outside our hotel without any trouble. On our return trip we had to employ a hotel vehicle to meet up with our transfer vehicle as once again the Holiday Taxi vehicle declined to pick up from our hotel. The hotel were surprised and couldnt understand why this was happening.
Truly appalling service.”
“Our transfer from Dalaman to Marmaris was very stressful. The driver was going way too fast over the speed limit even round z bends. It was dark and he made us feel unsafe. We asked him to slow down which he did for a short time then sped up again.”
“We were expecting to meet our driver at arrival zone 7, with him holding a sign with our name. This was the service we paid for.
But when we arrived we were directed via text from the driver to go across a street and down some stairs and go to a building with a bud sign on it. He indicated that he could only park for 3 minutes, so this was the new procedure.
This certainly seemed to make life easier for the driver not having to park and come to the meeting place with all the other drivers with names on a placard.
However we did not feel that it made life easier for us. I also noticed that the signs said there was parking for 30 minutes not the 3 minutes he indicated. Plus we waited at this place for at least 10 minutes until he arrived
I do not consider this to be the premium service we paid for! We could have ordered an uber taxi for the same hassle of finding the meeting spot and waiting for at least 10 minutes.

“Absolutely shocking service I booked this months ago only to find which we met the rep our booking wasn't on the system.
Had to wait more that 30 minutes to get this fixed the whole point of booking a private transfer is that you are you are not waiting around at the airport.”
“The pickup was planned at 12:00 and the driver comes at 10:00 !!! He told us that if we refuse to take his car, no other taxi will come later to pickup ! I am really unhappy and angry !! So we was waiting more than 5 hours to the airport !!!”
“Did not turn up to take me back to the airport from the arranged pick up point .
Communication extremely poor . Was instructed to call back in 10 mins after waiting 10 mins past pick up time . Called back and office would not answer my calls. After 45mins minutes I had to grab a taxi to take me to the airport. Very anxious experience as was worried I’d miss my flight .”

The taxi did not show up at this time even though we received this message, I rang and she said the taxi came at 7:20 that we informed 2 days ago, then yesterday we got this update so this is the time we expected. I am so upset”
“There was no driver there when i arrived. So this was a very disappointing. I used holiday taxis a number of times. But this was the last. I had to take a regular taxi that costed me 100 euro on top of the fee i already paid Holiday up front.”
“Ride from Larnaca to the airport was terrible the driver had no headlights and was using high beam or no lights at all when approaching other vehicles,the driver clearly had no regard for passengers safety.It was not a good way to end our holiday worried for our safety.
We paid for an executive car and it smelt of cigarettes and had no working lights-we will drive ourselves in future.
This was in stark contrast to the journey to Larnaca this driver and vehicle was 5 star great driver and service.
Unfortunately this one driver and vehicle means we won’t use the company again.There needs to be more safety checks in vehicles that are used.”
“This is the last time we use Holiday Taxis - we already switched to going direct to local taxi firms in Ibiza because of ridiculous mark-ups in the last two years from Holiday Taxis but thought the prices were still acceptable in Mallorca so used them again this year. It was fine from Palma Airport to Puerto Pollenca but coming home was a different story. Holiday Taxis' system of telling you what time they will pick you up to go to the airport, based on your flight time, is always annoying but on this occasion they were also late! So after spending 5-10 minutes standing outside the hotel in the sun looking for our ride we were not thrilled to find our people carrier (not standard car) had virtually non existent air conditioning - there were holes overhead where the nozzles should be . Our one hour ride to Palma Airport was appalling due to the heat - we obviously had no time to find alternative transport options due to Holiday Taxi's tight timing for our flight departure. This was in no way the driver's fault - in fact he remarked on how hot it was and had his window open - in fact he drove well but the heat in that van was intolerable!”
“I have the voucher with the correct hotel and address but the driver had me for pick up and drop off at another hotel. The pick up time for the airport was 6.35am I waited from 6.20am and after 45 minutes phoned the emergency number several times with no response. Fortunately at 7.15am another coach arrived for a family and I was allowed to board.
Drop off was at the wrong hotel and the driver was not scheduled for it so had a 20 minute walk with suitcase.
I am therefore very unhappy with this service”
“Very Bad, Do not use this company. I booked a transfer with them, I was charged for a journey that I never, took after 2 calls with them confirming the dates were wrong for Pick up and collection a month before I was due to go, they never amended the booking. Now that it is coming to the time for our holiday, I checked the booking, it is still wrong, and they will not amend the booking, as they say it is in the past, now they want me to book again and charge me of course again, I would rather walk to the hotel than book them again.”
“Really disappointed with the service. My transfer was booked for 6.30 in the morning, but he turned up at 6.00 . When we asked him to wait he just left without notified anyone. The private taxi cost us €92 . I will advised everyone not to use this service. No one speak English when you contact them in turkey and really rude .”
“I have used this same service multiple times in the past & give or take we understand that things happen but remain calm an understanding with unplanned changes. On one of my recent experiences my driver was over 45 minutes late which ended up with me getting on the wrong transfer. I was later collected over an hour later at a different hotel, grateful that I wasn’t left stranded after a few phone calls.
On my very last pick up I had a problem which delayed me by 20 minutes. My driver came 5 minutes early (18.55) but there was 5hrs and 20mins before my flight which was just 1hr and 15mins drive to the airport. Upon the driver’s arrival I sent my daughter down on the bus with our bags as I quickly tried to sort out the problem. She told me that he threatened to drive off without me. When I did arrive I barely got a foot on & he threatened to close the door on me & starting to pull off telling me to hurry up and get on! Once on, he was screaming and shouting at me. I was so shocked & flustered, all I could do was say sorry. This behaviour continued for half of of the journey. It was quite unpleasant and intimidating. He was eating, drinking and on his phone for the entire journey! Need I say any more!! Not a true reflection of this company but definitely a true experience!!”
“On arrival, they were late picking us up and we had to stand in the heat with 2 young children after a long flight , so not good but the driver did try to make up the time on way to hotel and did offer to stop for us to get a drink, the transfer back however was not good at all , 45 mins late picking us up and we had already been there 15 minutes before so we’re waiting nearly an hour. On the way to the airport the driver was answering continuous calls and texts and messages and was not concentrating on the road to the point that there were two near miss crashes and then had the audacity to ask us to pay him a tip and asked why we would not give him a tip so we said our tip is to concentrate on your driving and not on your phone. Very Dissatisfied with your driver on the way back
