“We used Holiday Taxis to book return taxis for our holiday in Menton from Nice airport.
Everything got off to a perfect start. When we arrived at Nice, the driver was waiting for us with our name on a screen, exactly as promised. We had a very helpful and informative driver and a lovely Tesla that took us seamlessly to our apartment.
Unfortunately things went badly wrong for our return journey. Towards the end of our holiday we noticed that the return flight time had been incorrectly entered on the return booking confirmation (one hour too late), and so the collection time specified would not have got us to Nice airport on time. We were advised by the driver who took us to Menton to allow plenty of time for the return due to rush hour traffic in Nice.
We started messaging and calling the local taxi provider and Holiday Taxis 2 days before the departure (before their 48 hour booking amendment cut off time) and each time we were promised a return call or message. This went on for the past 2 days of our holiday and the calls or messages never came. Eventually, on the evening before we were due to leave, we received a message saying that the change in our request could not be accommodated. This all resulted in many frantic phone calls and messages on the last day of our holiday, we then had to arrange for a local taxi to take us to the airport, at an additional cost of 140 euros.
We were promised a full refund of the return journey cost, this had not happened despite several emails chasing it.
After this experience we won’t be using Holiday Taxis again and could not recommend them. Its seems crazy that a taxi company cannot accommodate a small change in a booking. As far as we know we had entered all of the flight details correctly on the original booking, so can only assume a mistake was made when the booking was added.”
“Holiday taxis was recommended by my daughter who used the company last year. Travelling to the same destination as us this year. Our flight was delayed by 50minutes into Santorini airport. We made our way to the desk as advised, our name was written on aboard with several other names. I explained who I was and that we needed to leave immediately in order to catch our ferry. The lady replied " you are early"i said no we are 50mins delayed. There was no transfer waiting for us, as I expected. The lady proceeded to telephone someone to take us to the port. The driver cane a short while later, and drove us to the port, he was very helpful. However, I found the whole situation extremely stressful. Not something I what to experience again.
I had supplied flight number so surely, this should have been checked by the company.”
“We moesten erg lang staand in de hete zon wachten. Informatie ook niet erg toeschietelijk (meisje niet vriendelijk). Na 1 uur kwam de mini van. Aardig chauffeur en in 25 bestemming waren we op onze bestemming.”
“No problem with meetng up with our transfer disappointed that the minibus was smaller than booked and struggled to fit our luggage in. I booked for a standard minibus to take 8 suitcases but the van could really only fit 4 and we had to squeeze in our remaining cases on the front seat and inside with our passengers.”
“Absolutely no issues, lovely car, lovely drivers. The pick up was slightly late but the driver contacted me to let me know and we still arrived in plenty of time for our flight. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.”
“Had to wait nearly an hour for our private transfer upon landing in Antalya - Very annoying! What made it worse was that you could hardly breathe due to nearly every transfer / taxi staff smoking where we were told to wait. The driver then had the audacity to look like he was waiting for a tip when we finally reached the hotel. Not a chance mate! The return transfer was ok.”

The taxi did not show up at this time even though we received this message, I rang and she said the taxi came at 7:20 that we informed 2 days ago, then yesterday we got this update so this is the time we expected. I am so upset”
