Every new design goes through a rigorous testing process that checks it will meet the demands of the average home. If the fabrics don’t meet our standards, they don’t make it into our range. Only the best performing styles should be in your home. It’s as simple as that!

When you book an in-home appointment, your friendly and knowledgeable local advisor will bring along samples of our full product range for you to have a look at, and they’ll work with you to find the right solution for your space. Our team knows all the tricks of the trade, bringing years of experience and expertise right to your doorstep.

“Excellent professional service from Reece the fitter of our day&night blinds.even when one developed a fault it was dealt with quickly& curteously& he arrived and fitted a replacement the whole experience with Hillarys blinds has been very good.”

“Love my new blinds from Hillarys. The fitter was amazing and really helped me along with the whole process of choosing what design I wanted. Super happy with the outcome and had no problems at all. Will definitely be using them again!”

“Worst customer service I have ever come across. I had an advisor in the Cork city region and he failed to turn up numerous times and was not contactable on one of those occasions so I sat at home all day for no reason. Then when the blinds were fitted, one fell down and one was the incorrect blind altogether. The office were very helpful but when it came to getting the refund I was promised, they were less than generous. The blinds were overpriced anyway and I wasn't given the 60% discount that was advertised at the time I ordered despite selecting a blind that was listed on sale on the website. As for the quality, you could get a similar quality in any local Woodies or B&Q. I purely opted for Hillarys for the ease of having someone measure and fit my blinds. Not worth the money and hassle I had to deal with. The service might be better in other areas but the Cork advisor is a pain to deal with. Avoid at all costs!!”

“Awful Company and Terrible Customer Service I ordered from this company, and not only did they mess up the order of my curtains by sending the style that was totally different to the one I chose, but also refused a refund or exchange for another design even though it was their mistake. When the guy came he refused to accept that they were the wrong curtains, and the company even had the nerve to say I must’ve been confused and forgotten exactly what I ordered! The customer service is absolutely disgusting, especially for an order costing nearly £1000 AVOID THIS COMPANY - they take your money and do not look after their customers”

“Loving our blinds but the power crank looks more like a workman's drill.... its Black and Decker in orange and black. I know it might sound petty but doesn't look good having it around the conservatory. Has anyone got any pictures of their power cranks? I've contacted the rep and she assures me this is the latest version.....really??? No response from my email either. Would have been a five star rating because the fitter was great. Lost one star for power crank and one for poor customer service.”

“I cannot stress enough...don't use this company! I am not normally one to leave reviews but felt so strongly about the non-customer service and shocking product I finally received, that I have to leave a review. When my curtains did finally arrived, they did not fit the windows and did not close/meet in the middle - this is after FOUR different site measurements by their own advisor. I eventually managed to return the curtains and although they promised a full refund, I am yet to receive it. They have had my money for over 6 months. They have yet to acknowledge one email I have sent (and there have been many!) and the phone line is managed by rude and unhelpful staff!”

“Hillarys have just finished installing wood Venetians in our new home. Great service, they all look fantastic and fit perfectly. Their quote was 10% less than anyone else’s too! Definitely get a recommendation from me!”

“I have had a bad experience with Hillary’s blinds. I have 11 blinds from them in the last 4 years and the roller blinds have broken continually. People have come and fixed them but today I have been told that they will not service anything after three years which is ridiculous. I have always paid a call out fee. I am absolutely horrified as I have a lot of matching blinds so you can’t just replace one with another company. I would not recommend this company. They have no understanding of difficulties for elderly people and I was never told about the lack of help after three years. Also the mechanism for roller blinds is poor.”

“My advisor was really knowledgeable on the products and could tell me what would suit my windows. In the end I chose shutters and even though the wait time was a bit longer, they were so worth it. The quality is brilliant and having someone to fit them was a massive weight off my mind”

“Excellent service, reasonably priced and very knowledgeable and friendly advisor, who kept us regularly updated about our order. We had verticals in our living room and bedrooms, and a roller blind in our kitchen. They look beautiful and are the perfect finishing touch. We were worried about the window in the kitchen (it's huge!) but our advisor found the ideal solution and fitted it really easily. Would definitely recommend Hillarys.”

“Super impressed with the Hillarys customer service team over the past few months - I've been kept fully in the loop despite everything going on. My blinds were fitted this week and I'm delighted. “Very professional - from start to finish Hillarys provided an excellent and reliable service. I was so indecisive about what I should chose for my bedroom, so I really appreciated their guidance (and patience) whilst I made up my mind. “Brilliant service from the first call to fitting. The appointment was made at my convenience, and Brian turned up when he should have.
