Yet again, feeling let down. We had blinds from yourself at our last house , chap who fitted them was arrogant and sprayed some form of silicone on our new floor which could not be removed. Working on the proviso lightning doesn’t strike twice we asked you to come out to our new house, measurements were taken and blinds were fitted! Two out of the three were fine the third was to long, can you adjust it I asked,? I only fit em! Was the reply , I’ll order another! As if by madness we asked for three more in our living room . Once again all three were to long, I had mentioned to the fitter all the windows were different drop! I ONLY FIT THEM !was the reply and then after leaving found a cut in our hallway flooring caused by a drill, screwdriver or something. I run a company and if I treat my customers like this I would not have a company left. We would like to remain anonymous Thankyou

I ordered my shutters in August and I was to get them fitted on the 21st January and I got no contact or correspondence so I phoned to check if any delays 3 times before the date and was told no delays expected then I emailed them and got no reply to any of my emails to make sure fitting was going a head and got no further reply’s the 21st January came and I phone again to be told that my shutters were not expected in until the 26th January! I raised a complaint as I had not confirmation since the 21st as to when a fitting date could now be expected I sent a email tried to call I got no reply, Iv paid half my money for the shutters and still waiting. I am totally disappointed with Hillery it’s a total disgrace that no one has got back to me.

Salesman.....Very rude I advised him from arriving at my house it was for a quote only, he said I was wasting his time. I told him to leave, 1 hour later I had chosen my blinds with a price I felt was satisfactory, 2 weeks later they were fitted. Edges of blinds shabby and happy not flush, and unless you pay extra the draw string is very cheap. I felt uncomfortable in the fitters company, I would never ever use them again ever. I sd to him what if I'm not happy with yr service, he said to my face, I was a difficult customer, but then told me I was pretty and lived local. No harm done but I did feel uncomfortable from start to end. Be ashamed Hillarys I have never had a response from that day to this.

I just don’t like the plastic fixture at the top of the blind. Plus the chain is infuriating as the plastic bits that connect one of the chain to another kept snapping off and now the whole chain has come off, great. I wish that we’d got basic roller blinds from fed local Diy shop, they are a lot cheaper and in my opinion more substantial!

It was unfortunate that Hilarys had supply issues and we had to wait from April until August for our awning to be fitted. However my complaint is about the aftercare service. After a few uses of the awning the mechanism stopped working. I have tried to fix using Utube with no success, so I contacted Hilarys customer service. After several calls to them I have had no contact from the promised fitter- it has been over 2 weeks now. When I I ordered the awning I was informed that the comparative high cost was because of the superb aftercare!!!

3 Blinds have been up since 2015. One was replaced under warranty. Now all 3 are starting to lift at an angle with one side higher than the other. Contacted Hillarys for advice. Blinds are over 3 years old and they will not give any advice. Won't use them again.

Just before lockdown ordered a number of roman blinds for conservatory, but when fitted one of them had centre seam and others had side seams, so replacement ordered. Chased recently to be advised replacement had been put on hold as could not be made with side seams as blind was too wide to allow this. This was despite the fact that two other wider blinds, as well as one identical to the faulty one, had already been made with side seams I wanted. Didn't receive promised call backs and had to constantly chase them. They have offered to replace the other blinds to make them all the same, but I will be left with something I didn't want in the first place. Not good experience.

I ordered my shutters and blinds in early March, two orders were placed one manufactured in Uk had to be paid in full, the shutters manufactured in China I paid a large deposit. Lockdown happened and naturally there were delays, I have had to constantly contact Hillarys for updates, nil communication from them, received promises they would get back to me,nothing. I finally received a call to say they would fit the shutters on a certain date,when I asked what was happening about the blinds I had paid in full for, he had no idea. I stated I wanted both orders fitted on the same day. I was told he would investigate and call me back that day. I heard nothing, I sent a message a few days later asking what was happening and received a message back to say,yes all blinds and shutters would be fitted on the same day. I am now waiting for a time. Meanwhile I have received an email asking me to give feedback on how well the blinds were fitted etc and to date I have not received them. Very frustrating experience to date.

Yes Hilary blinds look ok, but fully read your terms and conditions they are indeed guaranteed for 5 years but after year 1 you have to pay a £75 call out fee which apparently is not refunded even if it’s a manufacturers fault

Two "matching blinds" didn't match so one will have to be replaced, one blind had different ends and didn't hang vertically probably need replacing. One slat was missing from the order. I am waiting to see what happens.

I called them to enquire about how much the window shutters will cost. The lady on the phone never heard of square meters, and told me the price is up to the advisor who will do the measurements. perhaps they missed some maths lessons, at the end of the day i buy shutterts made of material sold per square metere not an advisor opinion the includes £££ according to your post code!. Most sites have a calculator ...

The guy doing the quote arrived late and to be honest really needed customer service training. On receipt of the quote it was basically a supply one set of curtains at a price no details of measurement or cost breakdown. I requested a more detailed quotation and they refused. Not very customer focused would not recommend
