Hi Patrycja. Many thanks for leaving this review but sorry to hear this. I have spoken to Biogance in France about this and they say that they inject 4 months protection active ingredients in the collars. The smell is strong when the collars are liberating the active ingredients but that the collar is still effective even if we do not smell the active ingredient. That said, if the collar has been facing excessive high temperature more than 40 degrees, the active ingredients might be reduced by vaporisation. We will make sure that we had this information to our website. Regards Kay
