“Engineer was excellent on an unusual repair to an AEG microwave. My only grouses are that they added the congestion charge on the bill, which they did not include in the quote or otherwise get my agreement to in advance, and I always think that is a rip-off. Also I was charged £18 for parking fees, but I had told their operator in advance when booking - she asked - that they could park in the building car park. The engineer was not given that info and parked on a meter, and I didn't expect to be charged till I got the bill. I would have had a row about it but just wanted to get away to work by then.”

I was kept informed of what was going on(was phoned 45 minutes before Engineer came) until some one got to my door.
The Engineer was polite,explained things and gave me options.

The experience I had with PGA Services was fortunatelly different. The call center was very efficient, they've sent out a plumber on the same next day, kept me posted with updates regarding the ordered parts, etc.
Although quite expensive (the list price of the needed parts was ridiculous, especially for a cheap boiler), the job was done professional, quick and efficient. A pleasant experience after all, so I would recommend them without doubt. 2 weeks later I also got a fidelity card from them offering 10% off labour on next jobs across all available trades. A nice touch, I would say.”
