“I ordered a bathroom thumbturn lock on 4th January and haven't received it yet on 17th January! When I telephoned last week the lady was very apologetic and explained that my order had been misplaced on their system. Hopefully I will receive it in the next day or two!”

“the handles were all very good, my only comment is the cup pull handles fixing lugs are right on the edge of the handle and so are very difficult to hide as any hole drilled into the draw will always be slightly out of true”

“Lots of very attractive items here that will definitely enhance any home, but this is high - end shopping, don't expect supermarket prices. Good information and communication but don't understand why delivery takes so long.”

“I ordered with the expectation of dispatching in 2-3 days as that was what the site mentioned. In day 2 I received an email saying that part of my order was out of stock and would arrive 3 weeks later. I chased again today and it seems that it slipped yet another week without confirmation on when I will actually receive my goods. I have been kept informed (thus the normal) but I am very frustrated and I am not sure I would order again from this site.”

Hi Marina, Thank you for your review, we apologise for the delays experienced with the 3no handles which the manufacturer are out of stock of. As a gesture, we offered you a part delivery so that you wouldn't have to wait 3 weeks for the whole order, which you accepted. We also discussed the arrival date at the time of order, which was quoted as the end of November. Until the shipment arrives at the manufacturer we cannot give you an exact day of delivery. The delivery date is still late November as projected , which you agreed with. The actual date of delivery to you will most probably be very early December, as there will be a day or two transfer time from the supplier. “Good quality fitting. No fitting instructions included, and the connecting bar was a bit short for my thicker door (42mm). Took over a week to ship.”

“Dear Handles 4 Homes Order processing very good, delivery very good, shelf brackets excellent Coat hooks, very poor. They were manufactured wrong. The hook wasn't perpendicular with the fixing plate. All hooks were the same. They're attractive but look like a reject set. Apologies for the harshness but quality was very poor I'm afraid Anthony Cork (07720428720)”

“I found Handles 4 Homes on a Google shopping search. They offered the door handles I was looking for at the best price. The website was easy to navigate and ordering what I needed was quick and straightforward. The automated response e-mail after ordering confirmed everything I needed about cost, specification of products ordered and delivery time. My only negative comment about the service relates to the lack of information about delivery for 'unusual' door handles, which I subsequently discovered I had ordered. I had to wait about two weeks for delivery and made several enquiry telephone calls during this period. I think that some more information at the time of ordering about having to wait longer for more obscure products would have helped. Other than this, everything else was fine and the products arrived as described by DPD courier.”

“If you do not look closely you can miss that door knobs are sold as a pair. The picture only shows one, so I ordered two - and ended up with two pairs. I did not need to click on the description so I never saw the notice that they come as a pair. A flat 60 ponds for international postage (over 1kg) seems a bit excessive; it should be charged at cost. In terms of service I was completely satisfied - spoiled by the points above. If you improve your website and postage procedures you should get consistently high ratings.”

“Delivery was as per expected - good. The pot handles were pleasing aesthetically - good. However, the spindle was loose; one 'grub' screw was missing; and it was difficult to secure the handles as a result. Now fitted and very pleased with the impression.”

“Really good quality handles, some of the screws are not formed properly which let the high standard of the handles down and I will struggle to get all the handles fitted with the proper screws”

“The product was excellent - but then it wasn't exactly cheap, but we are pleased with it. We had 2 attempts at purchasing one from another well known DIY store but ended up taking them back because of the poor quality etc.. We did have to ring up to find out about delivery as we waited in a few days. It took longer to arrive than I anticipated. But overall very happy and would use again.”
