“Good website, easy to follow. Quick delivery.Impressed that prices appear not to have inflated (too much) for my return purchases of five years previously. However the website offered me a 5% discount for size of my purchase but at checkout it failed to take this into consideration on the total price. Due to time constraints, visiting from France, I was not able to pursue the matter.”

“These handles are for an old door that I restored. The handles were a treat at the end of the work. A treat they are. Very good quality and fit with other discrete art deco in the house. Love them. Thanks.”

“I ordered a new pair of Carlisle Brass Oakley handles to replace an odd handle installed on a extra internal door by a contractor - as I wanted it to match all the others in my house. Delivery was on time and packaging was fine. I could tell, as soon as I unpackaged the new pair of handles that they were lighter and more flimsy than the 25 year old originals that came with the house. Overall the metal seems thinner throughout. The part of the handle you grip is slightly smaller in dimensions all over - I guess it saves on material costs . Turning original and new handle over in my hand I can feel the difference in balance due to the lighter weight of the grip. I can’t help feeling slightly disappointed as I had been pleased to find what I thought was the exact model of handle I was looking for. However, when attached to the door you’d need to look hard to notice the difference from all the other handles in the house. Compared to an original example - on the right in my pics - all the holes are in the correct places. Hence 4 stars not 5 - appearance-wise it’s close but noticeably less substantial than the 25 year old original stamped ‘Carlisle Brass’”

“Would have been 5 Stars if the alen keys fitted grub screw better and holding screws been better quality. Heads of screws damage after one use ,hard to reuse if door needs removing.”

“These handles are amazing, so we ordered more! We've had some of them for years and they are still as pristine as when they were first purchased. There was a slight issue on pricing through the website which they were made aware of and hopefully this has been sorted out now.”

“I ordered an art deco antique brass door handle but after waiting for over a week I called only to discover that they weren’t in stock and it seemed nobody was monitoring this. However, customer service sent be a satin brass version which is lovely too. Would have been good to have had a discount applied for the inconvenience.”
