“Already an owner of Dartmoor walking shoes for around 5 yrs which have been robust and waterproof. Purchased a new black pair to keep feet dry for winter golf, comfortable out of the box.”

“Java walking shoes comfortable straight out of the box. As expected from Grisport. These shoes are what I wanted comfortable but a bit more robust than trainers. Vibram sole has good grip on wet and dry surfaces. So far shoes are waterproof but only worn them in light rain, but. No doubt will be as waterproof as the othe Grisport produced I have. Free sock,gloves and laces were a nice touch.”

“After doing some research I opted for the fuse lowland boots, and they really do look good n the crazy horse finish. (bonus as they happened to be on offer when i bought them) I am a standard uk size 10 and ordered size 44 as advised and they fit perfectly. I have worrn them every day for the past week and they are so comfortable that I haven'thad any issues with rubbing or blisters. The waterproofing has been thoroughly tested with the recent bad weather and I'm pleased to say that the fuse lowland boot passed with flying colours. The free accessory pack was a very nice touch (thanks Grisport), i have already started to use the gloves!”

“My second but different pair of Grisport hiking boots leaked the first time I wore them even though they were sold as waterproof. Even walking through wet grass made my socks wet. I contacted customer services who suggested a replacement, after a week of to and fro emails and very wet feet I am getting a refund. I have never received a reason why the boots are sold as waterproof yet leaked terribly in quite mild conditions. A replacement was something I questioned as why should an identical pair be any different? I walk 6 miles a day every day and have had wet feet for almost two weeks and will not have nothing to wear until I get my refund and find an alternative. I think the boot isn’t fit for purpose and customer services should have done more to help and answer my questions. I disappointed as I thought from my previous pair I had finally found a good brand. This will submit as Michelle Clarke (old name) my purchase was Michelle Campbell Joy Cottage”

“Only had my boots for a few weeks .They appear to be well made but because of planta fascitis I have put in insoles with arch support and find them very comfortable. I wear them everyday for dog walking over various terrains, only time will tell how well they wear”

“To be totally honest, these Grisport boots are probably the nicest thing I have ever put on my feet, in my work I do a lot of walking about and standing in wet grass and all sorts of puddles etc , so these boots keep my feet nice and dry .also the way the sole is designed literally makes walking a pleasure, I am a size 9.5 so I ordered the size 44 on their list which came out perfect with room for thicker socks, , I did notice that one review said these boots were not breathable ,but I would say that depends on what sock you wear ,as some materials wick the moisture away into the lining (which will take time to evaporate ) and some sock materials tend to retain some moisture (ie, high cotton content) . The lace up system is the best I’ve tried on boots , I just wish that I had started using Grisport boots years ago.”

“Ordering all fine but the boots are like house bricks. No cushioning at all. Hopefully very thick socks and walking on soft ground will help that but after 20km in them I basically have bruised the soles of my feet.”
