“I bought the ranger boots many months ago to help a weak ankle and they have helped, also with the deep tread it has stopped me slipping on my muddy walks which I do three times a day , because of this I have bought the crusader boot both pairs were comfortable straight from box, I will be sticking with gisport.”

“Great looking walking boot.Comfortable to wear with no rubbing.Having been caught out in some very heavy downpours i can confirm they are thankfully waterproof. Lightweight but a solid shoe very chuffed with purchase.”

“Excellent boots. Best fitting leather boots I have been able find. Wide enough around toes wilst not too loose around ankle. Boots also have good stability, making for confidence on different types of terrain.”

“I have just bought my second pair of boots from Grisport. They are an easy company to deal with: the website works, the goods arrive quickly. I have not had to make a return, but if I did, it would be easy, with the included paperwork. The extras with the order are a nice touch.”

“What a brilliant company! My first pair of Grisport boots, Evolution, was via an independent dealer andn immediately fitted like a glove, and enhanced by the addition of an pair nof Grisport 'Sport' insoles - outstanding comfort. One small gripe though not enough to lose a star is that the Vibram hell seems to wear very quickly compared to the rest of the sole - I walk about 10 kilometres a day on mostly hard surfaces. I have supplemented the above with a pair of Kratos boots, lighter for summer use, again fitted with 'Sport' insoles, and another excellent fit with no need for breaking in. The latter also came with gifts of a boot bag, a pair of gloves and a pair of socks, all of which are excellent. I also have some pairs of Grisport merino wool socks which are a delight to wear. An outstanding company - their walking shoes are my next intended purchase. A highly recommended company.”

“The soles of my feet usually begin to hurt after 3-4 miles walking. I bought the Pyke widefit boots, changed the insole, and managed 9 miles with only mild pain. What a difference. Very pleased with them.”

“I have been wearing Dartmoor walking shoes for the past 15 years. Not the same pair I might add. I can put these straight on out of the box and walk in them . They may look clumpy but they are light as any material type walking shoe on the market. Plus you have the benefit of cleaning and waterproofing easily. With the state of the fields this winter I have 2 pairs on the go. I do a lot of walking in them.”
