“I like the boots. It’s a slightly different colour to what I saw when I ordered. My biggest issue is the vibran sole. It isn’t the most grippy of materials. Already experienced some dangerous slips on rocks. I’m not sure why this material is used for walking boots that will inevitably cross surfaces. Traction is just one aspect of need. IMO.”

“I wear Grisport and love them! They are so comfortable from the very first wear. After receiving my boots I realised I preferred the burgundy ones which I tried on in the shop I’m quite fussy but I’d order again inline as my return was hassle free Thankyou 😊”

“Bought a pair of Dartmoor crazy horse leather shoes. They are excellent. Super sturdy and robust walking shoe, perfect for walks round the local nature reserve and beyond. They feel exceptionally well made and durable, bombproof! Had to size down to a 7 from my usual 8 (not uncommon for me in traditional walking shoes/boots). Still allows for thick socks when the temperature drops. Excellent service from Grisport too.”

“Only worn the boots once. I purchased them after breaking my ankle wearing wellies!! My ankle still swelling at the moment but I can get the boots on now. Very light and so far comfortable. Look good too. Recommended 😊”

“I bought size 12 hiking shoes and boots as I have done on many occasions from grisport. Both gave me pains under the arch of my foot and across my metatarsals. These boots are too narrow and have no side flex. A disappointing purchase. I now have berghaus.”

“The first boots l received were too small. Therefore, l requested replacement and sent too small boots back by royal mail. They were return to them promptly as per my tracking number info. However, their systems did not show receiving them for over a week from the return date. I had to call them to actually request the replacement boots. l don't think l would have got them in their normal return and replacement period, if l didn't make that call as they were even struggling to find the return boots in the first place. Otherwise the boots in both cases were good quality. Just their return and replacement prossess could be better and faster.”

“The shoes that arrived initially were comfortable but were damaged. The replacements are fantastic however the customer service was disappointing. There was no return label in the initial package and getting a response regarding problems via email was impossible without raising a new complaint. There was no apology offered. In addition, there was no reply to the customer service telephone line on numerous occasions. Communication left much to be desired. To sum up, the shoes are great but the customer service was not”

“Boots are relatively lightweight, well made, comfortable and to be recommended. The sole feels durable but does grip the ground well. Great boots bought through the wonderful shop in Grange-over-Sands, Lancaster. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff.”
