“I have used Grisport a number of times now and highly recommend their products, customer service, and great value. I own two pairs of walking boots and one pair of work boots, and the quality is outstanding. I've phoned a few times for advice, which was always helpful and given in a pleasant and friendly manner. I am very pleased to have found Grisport and will happily continue to use them in the future.”

“I purchased the Icarus Walking shoes because the pair of Grisport Winchcombe Mens Waterproof Active Shoes I had bought and like, lacked a bellows tongue which I thought would compromise the degree of waterproofing. Both pairs fit true to size at 43. The Icarus shoes seem very well made and finished, are comfortable and hopefully will prove robust. I have a slight reservation about the Winchcombes, as the upper where the laces are threaded seems a bit roughly finished but otherwise I am very happy with them.”

“Returning Customer! Tried a couple of other brands but have returned to Grisport for the fit, comfort and quality of their boots. Not the lightest but if you want genuinely waterproof boots you’ll need them to be robust and these are!”

“Received my boots very quickly. They are everything I expected. I ordered a pair will more toe box area as I've recently had surgery and they fit brilliantly. Altogether I'm very happy with them and they are considerably cheaper than other brands of similar quality.”

“I have only had the boots a few weeks, and only worn them for one 13 mile walk. However, buying them was easy and they arrived within a week. They are the true UK size. They look good and seem well made. The walk I did was a mix of pavement, gravel and baked earth on the London Loop. The boots were very comfortable. The wider toe box is a big positive feature.”

“I am absolutely delighted with the 'Chieftain' walking boots I've been wearing for the last few weeks. Bought them online, so I guess I was lucky that they were a perfect fit, but they feel like I am walking on air. No 'wearing in' needed, and the material and build quality shines through every detail. I'm less comfortable with the clever sales tactic. In return for spending £25 on something I wouldn't normally buy, I received £25 discount on the boots (so, not quite the 'free gift' described). Obviously if they ever have to be returned (like the 3x pairs from a competitor that fell apart after 6 months or less), that's £25 less refund. I have to hope that doesn't happen. Nevertheless, so far, so good”

“I wear boots for dogwalking: 2 x 90 minutes a day along canal towpath, forest tracks or hills. I had regularly purchased another brand for years, but the quality has deteriorated over th last cople of pairs, so I decided to change to Grisport. I have had them for 6 weeks now and am very happy with them. Moving up to a size 45 from 44 was a good idea. They are comfortable, robust and surprisingly lightweight. Yet to be tested in heavy rain, but the signs are good. No scuffs or flaking on the uppers, and no hint of wear on the soles.”

“I purchased a pair Pathway walking boots size 45 10.5 UK which is the size I usually take but they where a little tight, contacted Grisport for a returns lable as there wasnt one in the box they emailed me one straight over retuned the boots and got a size 46 Uk11 as a replacement and they are perfect I've been out with them three times around the coast paths where I live and I must say they are a very comfortable boot. I have no hesitation in recomending this company for any boots you need.”

“Delivery was excellent. Great boots. Light and comfortable with excellent grip. The only thing that let them down was the very thin insoles which made my feet tired after 11hrs of wearing. Once changed to a better insole I have found these work boots to be brilliant. Hopefully Grisport have a look into the insoles provided with these boots.”

“I own six pairs of Grisport footware including trainers, walking shoes and hiking boots. They are high quality goods, very comfortable and durable and at a cost much lower than other brands. They have all the features, gripping soles, waterproofing, easy to wear, required in a walking shoe. As a walker and climber of several decades, I would recommend Grisport products as the best for the outdoor active.”

“Boots smart suede. Very waterproof. Good sole for walking on Dartmoor. However, fit not good for me. My foot kept slipping forward, squashing toes. Sadly unable to wear.”

“Just bought a pair of Renegade walking shoes in Orange, with a wide toe box. They are extremely comfortable and so far, I am very happy with them. They haven’t see rain yet so I can’t comment on their ‘waterproofness’. I got a great deal. 15% off the already reduced price and a free accessory bundle of goodies worth £25. I’d never heard of Grisport but clearly they are popular with Which subscribers, coming out on top. I can thoroughly recommend this footwear.”

“I have used Grisport for many years and currently have several pairs of walking shoes and boots. The products are generally of excellent quality. I find the communication from Grisport poor. I have asked on previous occasions when my size will be back in stock and when the product has been declared obsolete I have asked for alternatives. On all of these occasions the response either has not happened or has taken a considerable long time.”
