“Delivery was a couple of weeks and was left at the side of the house as instructed due to us being out on the delivery day. Put the greenhouse together over the space of a couple of days. I did it single handed and it was quiet complicated even though I consider myself quite good as these sort of things. There was a piece missing, the window lever, which didn’t stop me putting it together and was replaced by post within a couple of days of me phoning customer services. All in all, I am very happy with the greenhouse and the service. I would recommend. I have since purchased an automatic window which was easily installed.”

“I bought an 8x6 greenhouse from Halls through Greenhouse stores. Very good quality product, delivered safely and on time and very reasonably priced.... I am a competent DIYer and together with a good friend we put it together and it is a pleasure to behold, now growing trays of vegetables for planting out in the allotment later in the spring. Brilliant BUT..... You really need to have a complete redesign of your leaflet of instructions and diagrams. You not only have to be a competent DIYer but also an expert at cryptic crosswords to understand it. In the age of desktop publishing and use of digital photography with suitable inserts of comments this is not a difficult task for you or Halls. I strongly recommend this approach to you, it would save hours of time for your customers.”

“I ordered my greenhouse then the following day I realised that I had forgotten to ask for the extra £15 offeredduring the ordering process sof I phoned the office but was told that it was too late to be refunded Anyway because of the recent inclement weather tho only thing that has happened is we have the Base down so we'll see how we go.All for now”

“Service very good, also delivery. Accessories for greenhouse (water collection) very expensive and not good value. Double collector only has one hose to feed into butt. Door of greenhouse a bit sticky on it’s tracks and difficult to open from inside. Could do with handles.”

“Delivery was in two parts. Frame work was delivered first and left where requested at the side of the house out of sight of the road. However, the glass was delivered the next day and left against the garage in full view of the road. We were away for a few days so had to organise a friend to move the glass out of sight. Assembly of the frame was a fairly lengthy affair and took a couple of days. The instructions were adequate but some of the drawings were very difficult to properly understand and required a couple of rebuilds to get it right. Assembly of the greenhouse was straightforward and glazing was simple though one pane of toughened glass shattered when it was picked up. Warning: the replacement cost £40 from a local glass supply. Overall this is a very satisfactory product but this was expected.”

“Greenhouse Stores provided a first rate service, good communication and delivery on time. I bought an Eden Birdlip 4x4 greenhouse for an older relative and my only criticism would be that this greenhouse is extremely complicated to erect and the instructions are not always very clear. The picture examples need to be larger and in more detail. The individual parts need to be stamped clearer with the part numbers as when powder coated these numbers almost disappear.”

“Arrived promptly with no breakages. Good quality, robust, basic greenhouse. I had a builder make a concrete base and he erected the structure. He thought the instructions supplied were not clear enough however. All in all, very pleased.”

“The delivery was fine but the instructions for the greenhouse are not very good as the illustrations are not very clear. Also we had to have the glass for the centre panel and the window vent re-cut as they were both too large.”

“Excellent price, delivery speed and product. My only quibble was the instructions were not quite clear enough. The photos in the instructions manual were really bad black and white photos. Hence a little trial and error. Also when it came to putting the glass in I didn’t find the instructions for this until I had half done it ( instructions were not with the glass but folded up with the flashing strips ) by then I had done the lions share. It was fiddly getting the flexible Perspex middle panels onto the bottom and top glass but all in all nothing is easy with self assembly is a good greenhouse. No guttering on this model mind. Took me 3 days on my own ( approx 14 hours all in ) to do it on my own thoroughly.”

“the halls popular greenhouse arrived on the day as promised. the only problem was that some nuts and bolts were missing and this delayed the construction. one phone call to the company and the missing parts arrived promptly. the instructions were rather vague and with virtually no text difficult to follow. however one more call to greenhouse stores and spoke to a very friendly and helpful lady who helped clarify what needed to be done and so i completed the greenhouse. the greenhouse is made of good quality materials and will hopefully last many years. thank you greenhouse stores”

“Good delivery. Items well packed. shame the base instructions were not packed with the base. I feel the instructions would be more helpful if they had some written words with a over all summery of the whole job. It took three of us just over a day to put it together.”

“It was a bit of a problem fitting the greenhouse together (we had to undo the pieces a few times) as the instructions were not too clear. Once it was all fitted together I Assembled the drop-down shelf only to find I need to dismantle the back wall in order to put the retaining nuts and bolts in place. Why don’t you let customers know that if they are having shelving they need to assemble them at the same time as the build of greenhouse? A paragraph or two in the front of the instructions would be an enormous help.”

“It was quite easy to assemble and looks fine now it's up. The instructions were not as clear as they might have been the parts list could have been illustrated better. The worst thing about it was trying to fit the rubber strips to the aluminium. My fingers are still sore! Overall the greenhouse is good value for money.”
