“the quality of the green house is really good, but the instructions to erect it are very confusing not clear at all.”

“Service good,asking for help good,just feel on the instructions a little more detail/arrows/labels on parts saying what it is where it goes would be a great help in construction as novices we got mixed up a little!as a 6x4 Apollo example diagram would have been easy to see how it's put together,to us the door is a little weak.”

“Service was great but greenhouse glass not got enough frame on outside to stop glass falling out in winds. Clips are not strong enough to hold glass in high winds. Driver did not give us 1 hours notice (as promised) of arriving. Would recommend greenhouse stores but not the greenhouse.”

“A good greenhouse at very reasonable price. Easily erected by an amateur. Problems - Roof bars were in box with side pieces and vice versa causing some confusion. Also kit was short of good glazing clips,and when I spoke to your rep. to obtain more he cast doubt on my assertion by expressing extreme surprise. Not good for customer relations. I still did not have quite enough and went to a garden centre and bought some”

“Purchased 8 x6 green powder painted greenhouse with 1 roof window and toughened glass. i also purchased a base plinth which probably was not needed as the greenhouse is secured to sleepers but it does give some added height. The greenhouse is easy to assemble ...until one tries to deceipher how the door is hung! The instructions are NOT clear and there are holes that do not appear to marry up! This problem appears many times in feedback comments on the net and I am surprised that Greenhouse stores has not addressed this problem.The back of the greenhouse could be improved by having 2 long pieces of glass instead of 3 small panes.”

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the instructions, they are Halls own and it is something we have raised several times. Because they are multilingual instructions, they try to keep the text to a minimum however, if you are stuck at any time, customer services can advise you. The 3 panels in the rear are to enable you to fit a louvre vent after the greenhouse is assembled without having to get extra panes of glass cut.

My order arrived and was left where I asked. 3 weeks later when we started to put the greenhouse up, we discovered that a pack of glass was smashed. I emailed them over the weekend and a lovely lady rang me to offer replacements. Can't ask for more really . Great price and great customer service . Thank you”

“The components are great, but some of the design REALLY needs a rethink. The roof fixing could be made so much easier to assemble. The fixings for the staging does not permit adjacent work stations at same height. The base plinth is C section so inevitably will fill up with detritus, a perfect place for pests and diseases to prosper.”

“Quick delivery and contact regarding order. Greenhouse parts came well packaged and clearly marked. However not easy to construct even using manual and on line videos instructions could do with re-writing from a novice point of view.”
