“The wooden chew was completely unsafe for my dog to have. Instead of fraying like the dog safe wooden chews are meant to, it splintered into large sharp chunks that could have seriously harmed my dog. It’s gone straight in the bin - a complete waste of money! And a waste of time given they managed to send me a request for feedback quicker than the product arrived!”

Hi Sarah We are very sorry to hear that the Olive Wood Chew hasn't met your expectations. These chews are deemed safe for dogs, and we have many happy customers who repeatedly purchase them for their puppies and dogs. Naturally, dogs may chew off small pieces, as per the image you have provided. If a dog were breaking off much larger pieces and then trying to eat them without chewing them, we would, of course, recommend removing the chew, and dogs should be supervised at all times with their chew. We have looked into your order and can confirm it was dispatched the same day as you placed it, via a Royal Mail 48-hour delivery service, which RM states should take 2 - 3 working days. We would have expected it to have reached you much sooner. It is frustrating for us when we dispatch orders in an efficient and timely manner, to hear that they have been hugely delayed, as RM has not been efficient in fulfilling their stated delivery time frame. Our review invitations are part of an automated service and are sent out a set number of days after orders have been placed, and by which time delivery should have taken place. There may be an occasion where the review invitation is received before delivery has taken place. We pride ourselves on our customer service and will always do our best to track a parcel or assist if we are made aware of any issue prior to a review being left. We will contact you directly. “I was scepticle about buying these, but I took the plunge and went for it in the hope that these would last at least a day without my little frenchie ragdolling and eating them. It's been a total success, we're now the 2nd week in with Mr Frog and Ms Carrot and apart from the little loop at the top she hasn't been able to bust them open, if anything, she likes to have a little suckle (nub nub) on them before bedroom. Well done Green & Wild's !!!!!”

“My dog loves the chunky of wood ,and luckily looks as though it will last a long time. Colin the crocodile seems to be lasting a while as well apart from the feet ,which being single pieces of leather are easy to chew 9ff. But although I am not letting my dog have the toy all the time it is lasting ,which cannot be said for other toys on the market. Delivery was quick although I didn't recieve an email to say it had been dispatched. Would buy both items again.”

“I ordered a dog toy from Green & Wild’s for my dog’s birthday, but the wrong one was accidentally sent. I emailed their team, and they got back to me incredibly quickly and resolved the issue straight away. The correct toy arrived promptly with some love treats for free, and the quality of the item is really good—sturdy, well-made, and perfect for my dog. Great customer service, fast delivery, and a lovely company to order from—highly recommend!”

“Our labradoodle loves his Desmond the duck. He’s been carrying it around since we gave it to him and unlike most toys, it doesn’t have an annoying squeaker and seems pretty hard for him to rip apart within the first day. Would recommend.”

“Love the different characters and shapes. This are tough, so wanted to give them a go for my puppy who destroys toys in seconds. These have lasted about 4 days. But He has managed to get through the jute & get the stuffing out. So have had to unfortunately throw them away. Nice product. Just not tough enough for a Daschund Puppy!”

Some pups do have a knack for testing the durability of our toys, and prefer to chew or aim to destroy them over playing with them. We appreciate your understanding of the natural materials we use, and please rest assured, there is nothing harmful within the eco toy. While these toys are designed to be sturdy, they aren’t indestructible, especially against determined chewers! We can recommend some characters that are more suitable. “Hi having had chew toys before from your self I purchased the last two but was disappointed with how femur they were my spaniels had destroyed them in a couple of days however I have re ordered Hugo the hammer and bite the bullet as they seem more substantial than the last two if these fail I won’t be re ordering cheers Andrew”

Hi Andrew, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that Carlos the Crab and Desmond the Duck didn’t meet your expectations. All dogs are different and can have their own chewing style. Some dogs do see our eco toys as a challenge and prefer to chew them or aim to destroy them over playing with them. This can be down to the natural materials used over harder to destroy plastic and synthetic fabrics, which don't taste nice. Please rest assured that our toys are also designed for chewing and don't contain anything harmful. For dogs that like to chew/destroy their toys, we would always recommend the eco toy characters constructed from the many layers of compressed felt, such as Derrick the Donut, You're Toast, Gordon Hightop, etc, as these are much thicker and durable, and our best sellers for this reason. We are always on hand to advise on which eco toys would be most suitable and the appropriate size for dogs. Derrick the Donut would be the best bet as he has no appendages that can be chewed off, and his shape also provides the biggest challenge, as there are no corners! We appreciate you giving Hugo the Hammer and Bite the Bullet a try; we hope they meet your expectations.
