“It did everything I needed it to do, I needed a driver, I advertised and a reply driver turned up and carried out the work for me.”

“Needed a few days labour. 1 cancelled the night before the start. Another cancelled within a few hours as couldn’t get to site and another didn’t have his cscs card. Paid for a 1 off subscription for absolutely nothing. Waste of my time and money and I would recommend avoiding like the plague.”

“Paid £20 for a grafter, made arrangements for him to start, never showed up on the day, did not answer his phone or return my calls. We were totally let down and lost £20 for the bad experience. I reported this to Grafers as I think there should be a refund for lake of service or at least a credit so some elec can be hired. We have no confidence in this service and therefore will not be risking paying again only to find ourselves at a loss.”

Hi Ed, Sometimes people just let you down and Grafter is not immune to this. We do however reduce the risk through the review and rating system which allows you to feedback on poor workers. This encourages them to turn up and do a good job to get a good review. It also helps weed-out bad workers from the service who get bad reviews. I notice you didn't leave a review for this worker. If you feel he let you down, please do so. Also, for the £20 fee you can contact 3 people. So if someone lets you down you still have two more credits to find a replacement. I see you didn't do this and still have 2 credits remaining, if you want to use them to find someone else. Regards Grafter.

“Can be a little convoluted to use and some of the in-form responses can be a little terse - can't remember the actual wording but something along the lines of 'it looks like you are trying to contact the Grafter direct - could result in you / your job being banned' - when all I was doing was asking where the guy lived so I could pick him up.”
