“I heard GB advertise their services on the radio. I text them, they rang me back and 4 weeks later I had over £4000 back from a mis sold investment. Fantastic result. I 100% recommend them.”

“Friendly & helpful staff, kept me in the picture all the time. Well worth it, my approach would not have worked, I would have got nothing. The 50% charge seemed a bit much at first sight but seemed quite reasonable at the end of the day. Very pleased.”

“I had not heard of Goodwin Barrett until I heard an advert on the radio and I thought it was worth a try as I had nothing to lose. They got back to me very quickly and have dealt with my case in a very professional way, helping me at each stage with the paperwork and telling me what to expect. I had no paperwork for them to refer to and was amazed when I very quickly received a deposit in my bank account of over £18,000. I would highly recommend Goodwin Barrett.”

“i initially contacted Goodwin Barrett some years ago but was unable to claim at that time because of the time limit. When the limit changed Goodwin Barrett contacted me and offered to take up the claim. I was not very hopeful but had nothing to lose so I agreed. The actual claim took longer than the expected 8 weeks but that was because it was a long time ago and quite complicated for GB to trace all the investments. I could not have done all that myself and also without their expert advice on the process, I don't think my claim would have been so successful. I had no expectations and was very surprised to achieve an outcome of over £14,000. I was quite happy for Goodwin Barrett to take the agreed percentage. This might seem quite high but without their help I would not have thought of claiming and certainly would have been unlikely to have achieved such a good result. I can't fault Goodwin Barrett's service, their advisers are highly efficient and everything was organised with the least inconvenience and at no cost to myself. It was also good to have a dedicated adviser to speak to when necessary. I'd recommend Goodwin Barrett to anyone who feels they have a mis sold investment.”

“Goodwin Barrett contacted me initially and although I was sceptical I felt I had nothing to lose. I sent them details of an investment I took out a long time ago which I had always felt had misled me. Once they had the details they started the process and although it took some time (not their fault) they persevered even as far as the Ombudsman. I really thought they would not get anywhere, especially when I received a letter from the bank concerned stating that they did not think my claim was a valid one. Goodwin Barrett did not give up and today I received a compensatory payment from my bank. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who feels they have been badly advised.”

“Contacted Goodwin Barrett on the off chance that I may have been mis-sold some investments made back in 2001. I had no paperwork or policy numbers for them to go on. They have managed somehow to claim back about £2800. They have surpassed my expectations and can only thank them for their work in being successful with my claims Mr & MRS Stockton”

“In 2005 I sold my house and my bank invested the monies which lost money, then Goodwin Barrett helped me to get back over £14,000 without any input from me. May I thank you as I would not have been able to do this myself.”

“My ref:CCO/30779 Goodwin Barrett contacted me about a long forgotten investment and some weeks later I received a compensation Cheque for almost £3,500. I did virtually nothing except give G B a few details and they did the rest. I was always kept up to date regarding the claim and when I telephoned the Coy. their advisors were always courteous and helpful. I cannot speak highly enough about Goodwin Barrett. Many thanks Mrs N J McSweeney”

“I responded to a radio advert on LBC just out of curiosity, as my wife and I had a poor performing ISAs with Scottish Widows in 2008. I gave Goodwin Barrett a call and spoke with Derek Welsby, not only was he very knowledgeable and polite, he made the entire process very simple. He said clearly we should have not been sold these products as they were not suitable for us. Once we had signed the authorisation for GB to deal on our behalf, within 7 days of starting the process, Scottish Widows offered over £1500 compensation for the two ISA's. Absolutely staggered at how quick they accepted responsibility, and very grateful how Goodwin Barrett managed the entire process. What is not to like about getting a windfall out of the blue?”
