Been trying to contact glow green since boiler installed in October 2020 on their contact form. No response and had no paperwork that included their details so contacted Worcester Bosch. They sent their engineer out and he submitted a report. Had difficulty sending the report to glow green and they kept saying that hadn't received it - but did not send out their engineer to conduct their own report and sort out the complaint. The connections were mostly compression joints instead of welded. The joints were also leaking and the floor was flooded going into the underfloor ventilation airspace. I also tried contacting Utility Warehouse to see if they could do something about it. I just got put through to glow green and also gave me their email address and said they could do nothing about it themselves even though they gave the order and installation instructions to glow green.

When they were selling me a new boiler at £2,000 they were extremely pro active. After 5 days my boiler broke down. I then went through a mini horror storey. I spent 7.5 hours on the phone, Scott who was dealing with it didn’t Ever call me back I then had to chase him. Then I got a lady on the phone who thought it a great idea to try and have a row with me. After 3 days of hell the guy that fitted it came back and spent 2 minutes putting a screw in to a box that apparently “always” happens. I dreading having to talk to their customer service, it should be customers get no service. Terrible

Our oil boiler broke on the 28th December 2020, an order for a new boiler was placed with Glow Green 15th January, an installation date of 29th January was booked in. The installation was cancelled on the 28th January after being advised that a boiler was not available from the manufacturer. - I accept that this is not in the company's control but do wonder why it took 15 days (and the day before the due installation date) to establish and communicate this information when Worcester Bosch were telling people there was a supply issue from early January. The installation date was rearranged for 5 1/2 weeks time (March 8th) despite Worcester Bosch saying they would clear the backlog in 4 weeks. The date then got rearranged to March 5th when a new appointment was found. On March 5th the boiler was delivered, just after 8am, at 8:50am I was informed that the installation engineer had called in sick and would not be installing on that day. Once again I accept that staff sickness is not something that can be foreseen, but would have hoped that a national company would have sufficient cover that should an engineer be sick their schedule could be taken over by others, if not on the day shortly afterwards. I was told that someone would be in contact later that day to let me know when a re-arranged appointment would be made. I received no phone call either on Friday, over the weekend or on Monday morning. I spent 40 minutes trying to get through on Monday morning with no answer, I emailed two contacts with no reply and finally opened a ticket on the website webdesk. Out of desperation I contacted the engineer directly, who stated 'I don't know if it's being done this week or not as I'm away all week on other works', I asked him to get in contact with Glow Green and his response was 'I'll see what I can do, as you are aware there[sic] not the easiest to contact' On March 5th a gas certified engineer was seconded from Crawley to move the 238kg boiler from an unsecure, open to the elements area to an indoor space. The engineers said he had not been advised it was an oil boiler and had no equipment to maneuver a quarter of a tonne oil boiler. The boiler remains in the same place that it was delivered with some plastic bags sellotaped to the outside as protection from the elements. At 2:30pm today (Monday 8th) my wife finally got through to a representative of Glow Green. The advice we received was that the next available installation would be 19th March. Will be happy to adjust the review as the installation ensues

Boiler fitted on date given - but electrical switches not fitted for two days following boiler installation. Problem with boiler working, told its not the boiler its the central heating pump - engineer sent to look at pump after 5 phone calls over 5 days. Engineer came to look at pump, said it needs changing and would come back two days later to change it - didn't arrive. Left with a new but not working boiler, no support from glow green and having to find independent plumber to sort system out for us. Communication with Glow Green sales team was great - they really do offer a great sales service - from there on it has been a worsening picture.

Cheap and quick but rough job, you get what you pay for. After many cut corners and sloppy work I wrote a complaint but received nothing back, I decided just to wash my hands with it. Happy with the job now after the remedial work that I had to do. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.

there is a lot of scope for improvement. firstly the communication by your staff need to improve - calls promised back do not materialise on time. Replies to emails take ages. Even though there is a promise of a 48 hour service if there is a boiler which is not functioning the time taken for installation was much more.Nearly 3 weeks. It would be great to see if these can be rectified from your end.

After new boiler installed which was over £2000 I had a leak due to wrong pipe fitting. Had a flood and cost me over £200 for emergency plumber at 5am in the morning... Had to continuously chase to get someone out. Was without hot water or heating for 5 days.. Still not working properly... Once they have your money they're not interested.. I have raised formal complaint.. I wish I'd never heard of Glow Green! Such a stressful time with this company.

Had a boiler fitted on December 18th, couldn’t fit the flue as should have had scaffolding put up. I have spoken to glow green to complain but they don’t get back to you.all they mind is sending email tickets. Supposed to have the scaffolding up on Wednesday 13th January but they want to use a different plumber who rejected the fitting the first time. Not the plumber who fitted the boiler? Who was the 4th plumber that week who turned up. I am not having a different plumber fitting the flue when the one who fitted the boiler is willing to come back. I wish I had gone with a local plumber direct.

easy to order fitter came on time was hard working and tidy but he couldn't fit socket spur took numerous phone calls to get this fitted there also a leak appeared this also took numerous phone calls and all the time water was dripping into cabinet underneath boiler eventually engineer came late saturday afternoon saying that he had only just been told of fault I did believe him now boiler working ok keeping my fingers crossed I just wonder what would happen if the boiler gets a fault how long would it take to get repaired although it has a 12 year gaurentee If I had known (my fault) that this was not a plumbing company but just a company that sub-contracted I would not have used them

My over 80-year-old parents have had a new boiler installed but been left with an extension lead across the landing causing a trip hazard company don’t get back to me this has been over three weeks

Would not use Glow Green ever again . Terrible service ,engineer did not come on the date they said they would and dreadful communications with this company . Have now discontinued with them as they are totally unreliable .

I have a few issues,my electrician said they left loose wires hanging round in the loft which he has had to sort out.my joiner struggled to cover all bare pipes that was left showing because they were n't aligned with the boiler and also bare electrical wire left in the kitchen.then to top it all we cant get the heating on.someone phones to advise me how to set it up.still not coming on

All loft insulation was lifted up to lay gas pipe but was not replaced. Access hatch to loft missing and not replaced, so I had to make another one to seal access hole to the loft. I had to pay extra for a vertical flue instead of horizontal flue A hole was made in the ceiling of the cupboard in the bathroom to allow vertical flue to pass through but the hole was roughly made and the size was out of proportion to the circumference of the flue pipe a poor half hearted attempt was made by the fitters to repair the hole but was no good at all. I purchased materials my self to make good the hole. Also each time the boiler is used the condenser pipe drips water. Should have used a local tradesmen instead of an impersonal nationwide firm.

Not impressed boiler fitted plumber and aprentice, Took them all day to fit the plumber went off site 3 time for bits and pieces, then end of day it was a bit of a rush, he said it was sorted and working. no instruction on how to work the thermostat or any thing thermostat just left on the side of table, following day tryed to get the boiler on no joy. then the fun started phoned the plumber phoned glow green phoned salus , plus emails back and forth , Eventually after TWO weeks they sent an electrician, nice bloke looked in the boiler and said it is wired up wrong, He said if you don't mind i will wire it up a fresh , and within 15 minutes he had it sorted he even took the time to explain the thermostat.But it was TWO weeks of AGRO you can do without, and countless hours on the phone and computer to get sorted, so no i woul recomend glow green i wish i had payed that little extra and used local tradesmen.

The start was very good then between customer service and Complaints department they completely blew it. I understand covid but not internal comms delay in responding multiple people involved who just have typical fob off response. All due to a valve that was working perfectly well then didnt I paid for it which I accepted but instal months ago still not working properly
