As a previous customer on the 23rd of Feb: via email I requested a discount code for further Insurance, heard nothing so rang your office and was told to apply by email! already had! So on the 25th of Feb: took out the necessary Insurance cover applying via an existing customer and received a discount, which your staff had not identified I could do, having still not had a reply to original email and never will!!

We have bought our travel insurance from Globelink for many years. On this occasion we needed to ask advice and found the member of staff we spoke to very helpful.

My wife and I have used Globelink in the past and never had any problems. Thank God we have never had to make a claim and hope we never will. We had always found them to be helpful polite and sympathetic to our needs with an easy ear and a calm cheerfulness. Yesterday however after several abortive attempts to input the relevant info we gave up and rang them direct. The young lady with whom my wife spoke was officious and too quick, barely giving my wife time to explain our needs. She talked over my wife several times and mistakes were made on their part. Eventually after several emails and expensive telephone calls. as we live in Spain to and fro we got everything we needed but we were uncomfortable with the way in which our calls were handled. This is the only time we experienced any kinds of problems I might add. My wife was a senior employee of a large international travel insurance company so she knows what to do etc. but was left somewhat underwhelmed.

Just regarding ease of on-line renewal...good. Other features not tested yet. I enjoy the Globelink newsletters. Please state the previous year's premium, and proposed increase, when notifying renewal.

Dear Globelink Your personnel were always most helpful and polite. The service was rapid and helpful. However it was too expensive and could have been a third less or so.

The process of obtaining cover and medical vetting is fast, effective and the cover comprehensive but in truth the proof of the pudding is in the eating. One can only offer a real critique of an insurance company after you have had to ask them for assistance and to date I have not had to call on my Globelink insurance. However I hope that should I need them in the future they will fulfil their obligations under the insurance as effectively as they sell it in the first place but I always appreciate the peace of mind insurance offers.

I am very pleased with the offer I got from GLOBELINK INTERNATIONAL- especially the provisions made for seniors. Most other travel insurance companies seem to think that past age 70 one should stay at home. Well done!

Can only comment on the quotation process as I have not needed to make a claim. Quotation was provided quickly along with policy schedule. Quotation was competitive. Limitations to cover were highlighted and explained. On taking out cover all documents were emailed to me promptly and there were no nasty surprises. Let's hope claims would be as good should I have to make one.

over 65years and insurers seem to think we are likely to make demands on them. When all reports state that people are living longer and are in fact heathier than ever before. But the young people are more likely to get drunk and have a accident and also likely to use some sort of social drug . Insurers should keep up with modern heath issues.

You never know how good an insurance company is until you make a claim and we haven't made one yet. We have however, used the company for a number of years and the cover and price is extremely competitive.

It was unfortunate that when we made our first enquiry about travel insurance for our trip this year to Australia that we were turned down. On pursuing the matter further you eventually agreed to cover us. All staff polite and helpful Tom Young

Having had immense difficulty finding a company to insure my husband and myself for a 4 month stay out of Uk, I can only applaud Globelink, I used them last year and have just renewed for this year; we are now 65 & 66. I am unable,to,comment on any claims procedure except to say I potentially had a claim last year and the direction to the appropriate forms was straightforward; as it happens the expense was below the excess so I did not proceed.

I found the site easy enough to use, as I was renewing a policy i was just asked to confirm some details and then went ahead with my purchase. I also liked the fact i was able to pay with Pay Pal which i find secure and easy
