“It seemed a fairly straightforward on line ordering process with the usual forms to fill in…
However on the final page, immediately prior to my payment being processed, I noticed that the ´different’ delivery address had not transferred correctly. I tried twice more but each time the page stated that my order would be delivered to my own address (noted as the billing address)!
So watch out for that one and check that last page carefully!
I did try to speak to someone at the distillery to query this glitch and left a message, later followed up by an email, but did not hear back. Perhaps they were just short staffed that week but a response would have been good.
However, the following morning, I tried again.
This time all was noted correctly and the order went through successfully with a confirmation email immediately received.
I followed up with an email asking that contact be made with the recipient re delivery date and time as a signature was required. My request was obviously duly noted - though I received no acknowledgment - as within a couple of days the ordered bottle of Makar Mulberry Gin efficiently arrived at the delivery address accompanied by the gift note I had ordered, with our greeting written in a very attractive script which was much appreciated.
So a slightly haphazard ordering process but I am sure the taste of this very special Glasgow gin will be worth it.
One day I will try some myself!”
“No issues with Distillary but had with courier fIrm they use, UPS. Stated i was not in and left at local shop over mile away to collect...i was in all day. Shop owner said drivers are lazy, regularly say people not in and leave parcels at shop so they can finish early”

all over the contents- over half was missing. I have emailed and complained and have not had the curtesy of any reply! The bottle top wax loose and had not been screwed on securely.
