“Having joined the GD community I received an email about the launch of a 6 year old Ruby Port Cask Finish 55 abv single malt whisky. I placed an order which included a charge for delivery and received the goods in a few days time.
I resisted opening the bottle for a few days and when I did what a surprise! The Port Cask Finish was obvious from the colour, but I have never tasted such a wonderful malt before ,I have tasted a few being 72 yo next month ! The palate is wonderfully rich and spicy, with a lingering finish. I was tempted to lay down for Xmas but hey its too good to leave sitting on a shelf ! Thank you 1770 GD I will be coming back to shop in the very near future.”
