“it was very easy to join Gem. Clear website.”

“Many breakdown companies don't allow call-outs within the first so many hours/days of joining. Fortunately for me GEM have immediate cover. I found myself with a burst tyre less than 24 hours after joining and wasn't sure if I could call or not. I have to say the customer service operator was excellent and made me feel really at ease, and the breakdown car was there within the hour. I would highly recommend GEM to others.”

“After doing some research and deciding that GEM was the one for me the joining process was very fast and straightforward. I hope I don't have to find out if their breakdown procedure is as good as the joining one.”

“The joining process via website very straightforward and you could read all terms and conditions. I read the reviews which seem positive. It provides the cover needed at a competitive price. The test will be if I need to use them. This is where I have been let down before by others.”

“Really simple and user friendly experience for us to join. We have opted for Recovery Extra for both myself and my wife (2 cars) and were very pleased with the price. They are award winners, have fantastic reviews. We also didn't realise that Gem have been providing motoring assistance for over 30 years. With these things in their favour, along with a great price, our decision was easy. Hopefully we won't need assistance or recovery, but so far so good.”

“The online process of joining was very straightforward. It's simply the one completely comprehensive level of cover everything included, unlike other breakdown services which have different levels of breakdown cover. A little more cost wise than Green flag, but cheaper than RAC and AA. I like that it covers the person , whichever vehicle they are in.”
