“I will write a GEM review in a years time. This is our first departure from AA/RAC other than through Nationwide. AA/RAC were fine over the last 20 years but now just so expensive. Nationwide's breakdown service is very poor!.”

“Very polite and helpful service, when I experienced problems with the website. Answered the phone promptly unlike other useless fat cat well known major providers, which keep you waiting for hours before answering the phone and then provide a substandard service. My only regret is that I stayed with my previous useless and fraudster major recovery provider since 2003, whose only aim was to sell me substandard batteries for £99. under their logo / brand. In spite of also paying my previous provider, whose contract is not worth the paper it is written on, I joined Gem as they have a far better review rating.”

“So far my only experience is signing up with GEM based on Which recommendation after an appalling experience with another provider. Signing up was simple and straightforward and I hope I don't have to use the service I've paid for!”

“I used to be with RAC but when the renewal arrived , the cost had increased yet again. I noted that GEM Motoring Assist was the top recommendation with WHICH magazine. After checking out the service and prices online I found the positive reports and price to be very good. I am now a member.”

“We have only had breakdown cover with GEM since midnight and so far no breakdowns so a bit difficult to offer an assessment. Setting up cover was quick and simple so full marks on that score.”
