I've had to use the service twice so far, once with a puncture and once with a breakdown needing recovery from London. Both times the service, after calling up, has been marvellous, making sure no one vulnerable needed special assistance, friendly, efficient and kept me informed of arrival of help. Highly recommended.

I found the whole experience of purchasing my breakdown cover nothing less than perfect with GEM Motoring Assist. The level of cover is excellent for the very reasonable cost. The website is easy to navigate and the purchasing process takes less than five minutes. Five stars from me.

I have given 5 stars based on reviews i have read. As this is the first time i have been with GEM i cannot comment on how good their service is. The proof will be if I ever breakdown and need to use the service.

I haven't had to use their services yet. I chose them because for a reasonable price they offer a very comprehensive cover. The joining process was easy enough.

EXCELLENT SERVICE... I have been a Member with GEM for some years. When I needed assistance, help arrived within 20 minutes. The Customer Service Phone Operator was polite, helpful, reassuring and quick to act. No complaints there then. However, in reaching Annual Membership Renewal time this Year (and it had lapsed by 2 days), GEM contacted me via e-mail offering the same Level of Membership but at a saving of nearly £17. Had I have paid 2 days previous, I would have paid the Full Membership price! The Saving was much appreciated as I have hardly driven my vehicle for 4 months due to the Pandemic and Lockdown. There is little doubt that GEM Membership Service is expensive. A Saving to take into account nearly 4 months off-road (not SORN) would have equated to a full third off the Membership Fee which, of course, I did not get. It would be kinder to offer a reduced Rate of Membership to everyone every Year.

As I join Gem Motoring at midnight tonight my only experience is enquiring about,and subsequently accepting, a policy with you . The assistant to whom I spoke (..?Paul) was extremely helpful,courteous, did not rush me and answered my questions with patience .

I look forward to reading the excellent magazine, am pleased GEM scores so highly with "which", and on the occasions when we have called for road side assistance, we have been very happy with the service. We also appreciate you are easy to reach by telephone, and we always find your staff so helpful.

I had never heard of Gem assist before, I saw it online & it was shown as one of the best when looking for the top companies offering breakdown cover. The website was easy to use & straightforward to obtaining a price for the level of cover required. Even when I needed to ring them to check something, I didn't have to wait long for my call to be answered & I was given a clear explanation. It also was the best price for the level of cover I wanted.

The joining experience was easy, and quickly done. I've not yet received my confirmation email though - but I doubt it will take long to get here. Many thanks. No idea what you mean about delivery being on time and being undamaged etc.

We have had an unlucky few years, mainly with our children’s cars and have had the need to use the recovery service on three separate occasions. Each time they were picked up in a reasonable timeframe and returned home, or to a local garage without question or any fuss. For that reason I have renewed my family policy for the fifth year running. Highly recommended.
